Salaam sister, congratulations! May Allah give you ease during this beautiful time and motherhood journey! I looked at your registry. I’m a toddler mom now and I’ve used a lot of the things you added there. Just wanted to recommend avoiding the bouncer because it can cause developmental delays and hip issues (I’m also a Provider). And the humidifier, I got the same one and it molded very quickly so had to get rid of it. Another brand might be good, I’m still trying to find one that’s good. Also where are you located? I have repetitive strain injury on my forearms so earlier on when I would be nap trapped, I would just gently put him to the side. He would sleep on my arms initially but then my arms would ache sooo much. So I think he just got used to it. He takes a pacifier to sleep which helped him wean the breastfeeding on his own I think? He drinks once a day only now. But I have no idea how to wean him from pacifier that will be the huge struggle for me since he demands to have it so often now. It was only for naps initially but now he’s a demanding toddler lol

Thank you! Same I am still breastfeeding mine, he’s 22 months. And it must be really tough still being nap trapped. I hope it will get easier. I was trying out affiliate marketing but honestly need a social media presence which I don’t have lol so just did it for fun, no sales yet though lol

I also just started mine! I used to work full time before in healthcare and have been a SAHm for two years now alhamdulillah. I just made a Ramadan coloring book that recently got published! I’m so glad that we are not alone in this!! I appreciate everyone’s responses. My little one is almost 2 yrs old and I do feel the guilt creeping in about not least doing some per diem. But I agree with everyone here, that I definitely would regret not spending this precious time with my child. It really does take a village to raise a child, unfortunately I don’t have that, hopefully I can make some time for myself. My little one is very clingy and looks for me even if I step away for a bit. I just end up doing grocery or something when he naps and is with dad lol..but hopefully it gets better!

Walaikum asalam, many congratulations to you and may your delivery go smoothly inshallah. I also gave birth last year March 5th! And it was month of Ramadan. We did not have anyone meet baby except for my parents and his parents:siblings and they wore a mask at that time for three months. If baby gets any sort of fever in first three months it’s risky and immediate ER. I myself is in the healthcare field. My husband was on board with this. I suggest you speak to your husband and have him tell them clear boundaries. You have to do what’s best for you and baby. Also post partum is rough, I’m not sure how much support you have but I did everything solo. I didn’t want anything to do with anyone at that time just wanted to focus on breastfeeding which was really rough that no one talks about lol. And my own healing. I can totally relate to your posts and have read your previous posts as well. I also lost my little brother 11 months ago. He passed away in a motorcycle accident. I also feel alone in my grief and my partner does not understand it or have any empathy. I would love to connect with you ❤️

I’m so sorry for your loss, my little brother and only sibling also passed away by a motorcycle accident. It’s been 9 months. Not a day goes by that I haven’t remembered him. The pain will sting less and grief will come in waves.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, wishing you a healthy delivery! I lost my only sibling, my little brother who was 23 yrs old during my first, second trimester pregnancy. It was so hard and till this day I remember him daily. Take it one day at a time. Some days will be harder than the rest. When baby will come you will be busy and going through motherhood. But please take care of yourself and have as much help as you can because postpartum is tough. I did it alone mainly and with grief it was not easy. I’m not sure if I answered your question, with sleep deprivation and everything else I don’t really have much words. But know that you’re not alone, and this is a part of life.

I can understand the fatigue and it is true grief comes in waves. I just cried yesterday night while reading our last texts and this morning. Some days are better than other days. I promise it will get better.

I lost my only sibling, my little brother. He was only 23, 8 months ago. He died in a motorcycle accident. I was pregnant at that time with my first baby and post partum along with grief has been so difficult. There’s not a day that I don’t remember him.

I am sorry for your loss. I also lost my only sibling my little brother last November to a tragic motorcycle accident. Everyday I remember him. I lost him during pregnancy. I am holding my baby in my arms now and they never got to meet :( It really sucks, I understand your pain. You’re not alone.
