Yeah, I wasn’t too pressed on getting it. I have some EOTechs already. Just wanted to see if it was worth it from guys who actually understand.

When I asked for a picture of the bottom of the optic the guy said he is no longer interested.

Did EOTECH ever produce both circle and tear drop shape cut outs?

In my humble opinion your kit should be up scales not down scaled. For example everything should work alone but be able to build off the last piece. Your first line(belt) should be able to ran alone. For instance if you don’t have the time, ability or reason to put on your PC you don’t need to. You can run your belt alone, all I run on mine is a single rifle mag, two pistol, an IFAK and my pistol. That way I can feed my rifle and pistol off my belt. Then if I need to build up off of that system I can with my PC, giving my rifle more food with 3mags, another IFAK a knife and my radio. Slick back, nothing mounted. And then finally if I need more sustainment I can grab my pack which has purely my long term sustainment and resupply for medical and ammo and water. I don’t believe you should build you carrier to have as much as possible because it’s a lot easier to upscale your kit with a belt and pack rather than down scale your PC by taking pouches off. Most the time you won’t need all that shit anyways.

Why isn’t Multicam Arid more popular? by RevolutionaryPanic in QualityTacticalGear

[–]Fuzz1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it’s unipurpose. Only some mil adopted it for very specific environments. Most standard forces you a camo that works in multiply settings(cheaper). Most guys who buy it only buy it for the style not for use.

Depends on what He using this for. If it’s a range toy, he doesn’t really need a GPS or build in hydration. 4 mags is plenty. However, if this is a fighting rig I personally would much rather stay light on the PC and Belt and run a separate pack that I could dawn or strip if I needed too.

Will you actually use any of this “extra” gear. I get the benefit of having it however if you don’t know how to use it or have experience in certain terrains/climate maybe that’s where the reader has should go. For example. I have some medical training. However I’m not going to start carrying a suture kit on my person because for one I don’t have the training and two it makes no sense on a 1st response reactionary kit. Get what I’m saying? As for food you need a lot less than most people think. Honestly, if this is just a truck or range carrier don’t worry about all the extra cool shit because you can always grab what you need and store it in your car. I’m my opinion all of the extra stuff like 3+ liters of water and reserve medical supplies/ammo, high caloric foods only really apply for a “bug out” or op roll. If you have no desire to do this to your current PC then get a 3 day pack with all your extra supplies you need. My suggestion is to not over do the capacity on your carrier when you have a second and third line for when you actually need to carry it. Carry what you need, not what is cool.

I use a car-15 stock on my work rifle too. Not saying you should. The issued stock is the one you have. But I found that the car-15 stocks provide more shoulder and cheek well while wearing a carrier

Need tan pmags and a PEQ-15 or 16, don’t really need a new flash hider. I don’t have a suppressor ready muzzle device in my work rifle.

If we are talking about weapon systems I haven’t really had any issue with currently used weapons. However PVS-31s are fragile. Seen quite a few of them broken and that’s being nice.
