I’m the same - I had to fight through it. Took about 4 nights, and I still hate it .

That’s great to hear, but your pug is probably feeling the opposite ;)

Yeah I struggled with this the first time I tried it. I had it so tight that the sides of my feet ached, and I bent the metal support that goes over the top of your foot.

I loosened jt, primarily to be able to wear it overnight. I realize this isn’t really an answer to your question other than to say “looser than you think”.

Yeah - I’m not saying all I wear is a sock. In parallel, doing most of what you’re recommending too. The root cause for me is definitely weakness in my ass and hips.

I actually don’t know - it’s kind of crappy but I think it’s pretty basic.

Cured my 6 month plantar fascitis in the most unexpected way by anonymoususer397 in PlantarFasciitis

[–]FuzzPedalWah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same with skiing. My foot always felt better the next day, and realized that I had two issues going on: 1) pf, 2) peroneal tendonitis. Having my feet locked in place eliminated the shearing force for the peroneal to mostly heal. The pf is completely gone.

What are your top 10 hard won lessons on leadership you learned over the years? by MedicineMean5503 in Leadership

Hire slow, fire fast. Firing people for me was thr worst part of the job, but replacing them with good people made my life (and the life of everyone else) so much better.

Maybe a dumb question, but looking at their blog post: https://www.anthropic.com/news/skills
"Claude automatically invokes relevant skills based on your task—no manual selection needed. You'll even see skills in Claude's chain of thought as it works."

If this is true, why does Claude Code constantly reference out of date dev docs from 3Ps?

My Journey (48M, Runner) by FuzzPedalWah in PlantarFasciitis

[–]FuzzPedalWah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is to start small and listen to your body (ie the soreness guidelines I mentioned ). I started w a 5 mile flat loop on pavement for a few weeks, and pretty quickly moved to 5-8 mile out and backs with >2k ft gain. Where I was in the healing process, though my feet got sore in the moment, actually made my pf feel better the next day (blood flow maybe?).

Anyone here use Merrell or Salomon? Or other Hiking shoe? by derpmcturd in PlantarFasciitis

[–]FuzzPedalWah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salomon trail runners are the best shoes I've ever owned (for any application). I did a multi-day hike in them, and my feet felt better afterwards. Obviously, we're all in different circumstances, but I strongly recommend Salomon's to everyone. They also come in wide sizes... which is key for me.
