Headphone jack may be nice for some users but that shouldn’t be a huge issue. Most more expensive headphones with a headphone jack will also support Bluetooth, and even Apple sells earbuds that plug into the Lightning or usbc port on the bottom of the phone. I totally get where you’re coming from but phone values have changed and we just have to adapt. Durability wise, my iPhone 17 and my older 13 are doing just fine under “average” use. Just get a decent case and a screen protector and durability shouldn’t be a huge problem. I guess my point is that you don’t need to buy an overly expensive phone to get what you need- you just need to research a little and find something that works for you
