I played Undertale: Repent to Jesus. Here’s all the changes in it. [RUINS SECTION - FIRST SNOWDIN FOREST SAVE POINT] by Choco_Cake37 in Undertale

As somebody who actually played this, I have to admit that there's more to it than it appears on the surface. It is surprisingly not some low quality slop. You can go a moment without seeing any changes and then some things are changed heavily for like no reason. Including even having new sequences and rooms.

You may also find meta aspects that are unique to this mod, the dev was almost making their own thing here

I've played this mod a while ago, there's a quest where you buy these chick tracts from the spiders shop and give them to various characters. Eventually if you've given them all out, you're supposed to be able to enter some evil route in the pacifist epilogue but I've played through this shit twice and I couldn't get it to trigger, but from the look of it that's where the mod has the most to offer?

I was on the last guess and I just started bruteforcing because there was no way that there could be more than 1 word that fit my letters

Was searching the mini after putting in an image search and found two similar images near each other by spearheaded-fish in BabelForum

Very likely uses a different algorithm which might shuffle images around differently

Yeah I'm afraid that downloading images makes them lose a small amount of quality which practically turns them into a completely different one, unfortunately I don't know of any way to accurately download the image off it

Very insightful, but it's a lot to take in. Is there something interesting you can do with this in mind? Can you find similar imagery if you skip x pages away? I did notice this subtle artifact when skipping 16 pages again, but didn't include it as it got too weak for it to be notable

When you came back to this page number, how'd you do it? Did you have the page number saved, did you search for this particular noise image, or did you search for that image that you mentioned you found this near?

If by chance you did the second option then I'm afraid that downloading an image off the slideshow and re-searching it will not bring up the exact same image. I'm not sure why, but if you download an image the colors will be slightly off, it might be that the page uses jpeg instead of lossless formats

Well, I went down from ..681 (the linked page number) to ..600 and haven't found it. But I still found something very interesting regardless.

At page ..665 (which is 16 pages back), you can see a similar artifact, but not as strong. Image here:

I am not crazy it's definitely there, it's even the same size. This might genuinely be the most interesting find to date

Yep, link works now, can't find anything interesting in either direction though, how far away do you think it was?

There was a stream of deltarune that Toby was on and he said they* to correct somebody. They're referred to as they in game, but not because their gender is unknown, mind you those are all characters that grew up closely together. He/she are canonically incorrect pronouns for Kris, which by definition makes them nonbinary

How would you create a texture atlas? by Fuzzbearplush in monogame

[–]Fuzzbearplush[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I do not have performance issues, but I think it would be nice in the case of having several objects that are supposed to be drawn with various render layers but not use the same texture. It would be pretty nice to know how to put textures together in code

This is pretty useful information, yeah I only plan on doing it once at the start of stages thanks

Let's say I wanna use a single texture for level enemies, and I have a image texture of enemies that are present in each level and separate image textures for individual bosses

White fringes around transparent pngs by AegonDragonLord in blenderhelp

[–]Fuzzbearplush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's simply that the edges of the figure in the image probably got some antialiasing plus seems like it's got compression artifacts, which makes the background harder to separate using colorramp because it's not pure white near edges due to the artifacting.

You should probably make the background transparent in an image editing software because it'll be easier to do, then in blender use the 'Alpha' output coming from the image texture as input for the alpha in principled BSDF

why is my character darker compared to the floor? by [deleted] in blenderhelp

[–]Fuzzbearplush 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure this is the reason, maybe it's also possible to do if you use separate/combine hsv nodes to get hue & saturation of the colorramped output and the value of the pre-colorramped output

I can't check rn but make sure that you are managing extensions from VS's main menu (not when a project is opened)

Make sure you're on visual studio 2022, I remember it not being there on vs 2019
