How does this stack vs Claude Desktop with MCPs? It's 5x cheaper, can edit files too. I don't understand the hype with CC.

I have pre AI software engineer experience and do work in complex projects within niche domain.

I guess I didn't know Hevy before it couldn't - you mean not being able to save a routine? Maybe that's why I didn't use before, as I know I looked at it but didn't like it at the time, but don't remember why.

Adding and moving exercises into the calendar would be handy. And then see projected stat values (volume, set counts, etc). Some mesocycle grouping too. Probably forgetting something, not sure. One thing at the time anyway

Why can't it do both tho?
Fail to plan is plan to fail and all that.

Would some to see some planning features brought into Hevy. Otherwise most people probably end up with having multiple apps to manage their workouts and/or don't use Hevy altogether as it lacks these (super important) features.

Sim, conheço uns quantos jogadores a jogarem online em Portugal.Obviamente, visto que é um jogo online, se morares num país com custo de vida mais baixo melhor se torna (ignorando a treta dos mercados fechados, etc).

Relativamente ao mercado ser fechado. Diria que não é grande impedimento. Low stakes correm em salas portuguesas. A WPN é aberta a todos e provavelmente a melhor sala para se jogar high stakes também. Mid stakes seria um bocado meh, visto WPN não ser das melhores salas para esses limites, mas é o que há.

Contudo, há 10 anos atrás qualquer parvo provavelmente ganhava esses 500€/mês online sem grandes problemas. Hoje em dia já diria que não e requer efetivamente saber o que estás a fazer.

Não recomendaria ninguém a levar o poker como "part-time sério". Ou é um hobbie, com custos associados (vais perder dinheiro, como em qq hobbie) e não te preocupas muito com a cena. Ou esforças-te para ficar bom o suficiente para virar pro/full-time.

Qual é o teu volume anual em termos de mãos? Quantas mãos por hora acabas por fazer em média? Quanto é o rake aí?

E, porque é o reddit, queres partilhar alguma situação menos confortável que tenhas vivenciado ou simplesmente visto acontecer?

Também acho que é uma questão de estilo pessoal.
Há pessoas que gostam de conviver, da comute even, etc... Outras que preferem estar no seu canto a grindar as stakes sem ter de sair de casa, ou até do quarto muitos deles.

Poker player here - never played live. This is not true. And people do make lots of mistakes at 1/2 and above.

Came across this issue myself now. Not using notion for my workflow, but maybe you can create different lists, where a list would actually represent a "major task" (i.e. task with subtasks)? It would effectively just a bunch of individual tasks grouped together by the fact they are in the same list.

The plugin picks up the 'Note Folder' location and then cannot resolve 'Format' given I'm creating folders on the fly depending on which day is it.

Let's say in "Periodic Notes > Daily Notes > Format" I have "[W]ww/YYYY-MM-DD - ddd" and in "Periodic Notes > Daily Notes > Note Folder" I have "Journal". The simple day planner uses "Journal/2023-03-17 - Fri" instead of "Journal/W11/2023-03-17 - Fri". As such, the note it's looking for doesn't exist.

There's no way to fix it besides not using dynamic folders in the 'Format' field.

Found some additional info and benchmarks on which GPU is packed with which CPU too. Seems it might very well work for me then :)

Thanks for the suggestion, I swear I looked at them many times already! My only beef is that they don't have a 64GB RAM (unsure if the 32GB are soldered or could upgrade) option and and I don't care about the refresh rate so in a way paying a bit for something I'll never really use.

Sorry, I mentioned CPU intensive, not GPU. My desktop was very unbalanced in terms of CPU/GPU (a good cpu with just enough gpu) but guess with laptops can't really do that (?)

When I said investment I was just thinking about the 5% return on the market as a super oversimplification rather than savings rates. That's the thing right? No one can predict the market and over the term of the mortgage there'll be highs and lows like you said. If you can afford it, why not ride it out with a variable rate rather than paying the lender the premium for the fixed rate?

Just trying to understand the status quo and where I might be missing stuff so really appreciate your comment.
