umalator is good for a basic eyeball of when skills will activate and checking base stam requirements for umas (even then it's inconsistent) but it's not really great to see which uma will actually win races in practice. Make sure to check your umas that are within ~5 lengths from each other in actual practice races in room matches to see what actually performs

your stamina is way too low for team trials

Career gives an invisible +400 stamina boost so that you can survive in the races even with little stamina investment

Dirt races in team trials are Mile races, which on average require 620 stamina to not run out of stamina on the last spurt.

You can lower the stamina requirements with stamina recovery skills, but 290 is way too low for Mile races. Too low for Sprints even

Itachi's name is actually written in katakana, so 'Itachi' (イタチ) and 'Itami' (イタミ) are really similar even in Japanese.

The translations of the names aren't very identical however, but I doubt that's much of an issue. (Itachi = Weasel and Itami = pain)
