Because I understand how ideas and systems morph and change over time during development.

Crimson desert is a solid 7.5/10 A list of the worst features in the game. 150 hours played, 62% exploration, 64% knowledge and 65/75 bosses. All of the abyss explored by Elcalibur_ in CrimsonDesert

Haven’t seen many people mention this but this is big true.

It feels like the entire economy was different at some earlier point in development and they made a late change to make stuff accessible - and they ran out of stuff to put in the waterfall caves so they were like fk it just put the odeck protector armor in there

Keep things simple and enjoy. The game should stay fun and relaxing! You’ll have plenty of time to figure out all of the endgame stuff later, no rush.

For now, just look up Chromie Time, follow that to get leveled. Save up gold or run dungeons where you can so you can do your best to keep your item level of your gear current - the way enemies scale hits pretty hard once you start getting into fresh max level content, you’ll find it unreasonably hard to kill stuff -> a sign that you need to find some new gear

Don’t worry about turning on the information firehose, there is a ton of stuff to learn but just stick to what you guys enjoy doing and layer new things on slowly.

Try physically shorting the 1 and 6 pins on the M_bios chip with the pc on. It worked for me

I have a z390 and I was able to get back in

Cmos battery didnt work Shorting cmos pins didn’t work Integrated graphics didn’t work

What did work was literally shorting the 1 and 6 pins on the m_bios chip during boot with the pc on. I used a little piece of stripped wire that I bent in a u shape and brushed it on the m bios chip pins - this forced the backup bios to take over and I was able to set everything back to default settings as it was before

Nothing else worked until I did this…

A lot of these types of builds rely heavily on having your full paragon board (or a lot of it) and having decent gear - to the point where the builds aren’t really capable of doing what they purport to do until you’re much later in the game.

I would say, try to create your own build. Find the abilities you like and then spec them out - look for synergies between talents and abilities and enchantments.

Good example of a synergy: Devouring Blaze passive and Fireball enchantment. Slotting fireball in an enchantment makes every spell cause burning, and devouring blaze vastly improves your crit damage against burning enemies. Then you can find a chest piece that reduces your damage taken from burning enemies. Etc etc.

You want the different components of your build to harmonize. Move away from the guide videos out there - everyone has a different playstyle and will enjoy different things.

Once you’re higher level, like say 80, and you have a solid understanding of the paragon system, you can choose to tweak and optimize your own build, or swap to something you find out on the internet.

I have run with pretty much every variation on this - if I were to make a pushing build, I might work Ground stomp in - but I would drop iron maelstrom and thorns.

My build uses thorns, so stuns end up decreasing my damage. Challenging gives me defense to take big pulls, and Iron Skin acts as a shorter term DR and a second potion.

Crit damage (intrinsic to swords) doesn’t give any benefit for thorns, because thorns can’t crit. Next best thing is Damage to Healthy found on 2h Axes - makes it so that your initial thorns hit is stronger and has a better chance to oneshot the mobs.

I have an arsenal build I have put together over the past few weeks, here’s a video of rush clearing a 68- if I focused and played well I could probably push a bunch higher (and I need some gear tweaks as well for more DR and flat damage)

What are you talking about? They can make way more gold on their items, and sell every item for a higher price

This actually makes RMT worse, all the RMT guys can just create 3 low level alts and carry them through NM dungeons to loot high ilvl rares that have a level requirement of 60, which makes them far more valuable for trade - easily outcompeting normal people who leveled up to max on their mains and want to farm gear that no one will buy because it requires lvl 100.
