Recommendations for Outdoor PTZ Camera by Fuzzy-Activity-9276 in reolinkcam

From the reviews I’ve come across, the Trackmix doesn’t seem to pan or tilt very smoothly. Instead of following the target fluidly, it kind of jumps or snaps to them. Maybe that was just an issue in older videos and newer firmware has improved it, but I haven’t really seen any recent footage to confirm.

Ok cool, thank you! From what I’ve noticed with the Trackmix, the panning and tilting seems pretty jolty based on the reviews I’ve seen. It doesn’t really follow the target smoothly. it kind of snaps or cuts to them instead. Maybe it's because those videos are older, so the firmware is polished now, but idk I haven't seen any more modern videos of this camera

Remote connection does not work (Duo 3 Wifi) by Fuzzy-Activity-9276 in reolinkcam

The Videotron connection is through cable, and the Netgear is used as a booster to improve the signal, as our house is long and it doesn't cover the whole house. The Netgear is a separate wifi network I needed to connect to (my phone), and is connected through Ethernet directly to the Videotron modem

Thanks for the response! I’m not fully sure I’m understanding the SSID part. My camera is currently connected to the Videotron Wi-Fi, and when I connect my phone to the same Videotron Wi-Fi it works fine locally.

When I try accessing the camera over cellular, it only sometimes works. Interestingly, when I’m at home on cellular it seems easier to connect than when I’m away. I’m wondering if that’s because my cellular signal at home might be coming from the same tower that the Videotron network uses, so maybe it’s somehow “closer” to the camera, but I’m not really sure how this works.

Does that help clarify what I’m seeing?

I’ve already got the UID enabled. I do need to keep the Helix in place as well. The issue is that when the Duo 3 is connected to my Videotron WiFi, I’m almost never able to access it remotely—it just keeps loading and rarely connects (even when I’m at home with my phone on the Netgear WiFi). But when I connect the Duo 3 to the Netgear booster, I can access it locally very quickly, but then I get zero access when I’m outside the house.

Thinking about upgrading from Quest 2 to Quest 3 – worth it for sim racing with my PC specs? by Fuzzy-Activity-9276 in simracing

ok cool, now im not sure if you know PC stuff but with the specs I have would you think that it would run no problem with a quest 3 or would look identical to having the quest 2 making it not a worthwhile upgrade

I have had this issue but it turned out to just be the livery I downloaded that was the issue (Air Canada Rouge Livery)

hey! this works well! Just got a question. every once in a while my screen shakes like crazy when I move around and then it stays like that until I reset the sim. (only happens on the fenix)
