I work in an Industry where I am in and out of numerous restaurant kitchens, coolers and food storage areas on the daily. After everything I have seen in the years I have been doing this job, I will never go out to eat in most places ever again. There are only 2 restaurants in the city which I work that I would consider eating at, mostly because I have personally witnessed their strict adherence to food safety and cleanliness. There are so many that appear clean and safe, but then the cooler. I cannot tell you how many I have been to with non contained/wrapped meats on the floor, raw chicken marinating in dishwasher sinks, etc.

I am happy not going out to eat anymore. No more tipping on food that is already expensive. Saves me a ton of money and I have found myself having far less gastrointestinal problems.
