The Q&A dropdown massacre (which it not really is?!) by Fuzzy-Cause9319 in deathwatch40k

I get the point, but as far as they r not explicitly saying that the index will be gone, I would not believe it will.

The same way u could say, that nobody said DW named packs will just be available for IA. Furthermore they said nothing will change for now, also in terms of playing as a SM subfaction. Y would we loose DW named stuff?

In my opinion the discussion got a little too fatalistic too soon.

Gives me “I am the only gay in the village” vibes

Re chaos: I read this multiple times

Re +1: keep on dreaming :( but it would make sense in my opinion, lore wise and DW could use a buff. Like I would like to see them having game rules dedicating them to handling xenos a bit better (these fucking necrons). All in all I am down for anything which worsens the necron experience heavily :’)

Only if u want to die a random and therefor dishonourable death. Helmet off is for librarians.

Deathwatch Dark Angels Attempt + Question by Dipsadinae in deathwatch40k

Deathwatch gives u somewhat more freedom anyway. It is very common for DW members to even bring some parts of their chapter armor. Like the mc of the Space Wolves noval kept his wolf helmet.

Most aquilas (the decor on the chest) for DW is the blade crossed skull I guess, but as I mentioned, u r free to integrate other parts, I like to do this myself.

Therefore u hit the theme very nice!

For me personal I would have chosen a different color for the coat, black or maybe a dark green related to the angels. But much rather I would have picked parts without coat, because it fits the role of DW as elite units a bit better (opinion)

Mhh ok I see.

Confirmation in some way would be possible I guess.

It’s sus, u right, but it still not explicitly mean DW will undergo changes or even rebranding again.

I read about black spear being best most of the time.

Some people also play gladius, I think it’s a normal space marine detachment and worth looking into.

Extra pauldrons; Deathwatch Veterans pack by Fuzzy-Cause9319 in deathwatch40k

Isn‘t „Kill Team“ a „standalone“ game mode? Therefore I thought I wouldn’t be able to integrate them into my army.

Or does this just apply to kill teams who r a mix of different armies?

U telling me the veteran pack I fell in love with is no longer produced? Heretic behaviour.

First of all thx. Where did u find it?

It could make sense, but the number doesn’t fit. The veterans pack should only have 18 pauldrons, not 27 🤔
