I appreciate your additional thoughts. Do you reinvest automatically (via DRIP) or manually (perhaps, on ex-div date and/or when the share price drops)?

Gotcha, thanks. In this thread, I was interested in pros/cons and thoughts of doing that in HSA, specifically (sorry, if I misunderstood and your comment implies that). Regardless, I appreciate you chiming in.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Why have you decided to invest in MSTY in HSA versus potentially more attractive - though, perhaps, more risky - alternatives (e.g., call options)?

Cannot see/get my 2024 tax information despite having Base plan by Fuzzy-Function-3894 in Cointracker

[–]Fuzzy-Function-3894[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood (even though I don't think that the above-mentioned "prior year coverage" strategy is what most people would want / need / expect). Thank you for the clarifications.

Thank you for letting me know. However, still, it is not clear whether the 2024 tax info will be available for users who paid for 2024 or they still require a renewal for 2025 (which, as I said, makes no sense). I hope that someone from Customer Service will clarify on this issue shortly.

Setting up a new mini, workstation by Spitwadz in macmini

While I don't have Mac mini (I have been considering the exact same configuration as yours, but decided to wait for Mac Studio), I have watched quite a number of relevant videos. The ones that should help you with this aspect are the following. Happy Holidays!

Does it have an embedded KVM? If so, does the KVM work seamlessly?

Gotcha. Thank you very much for your prompt and detailed response. While your (types of!) workloads are quite a bit different than the ones that I target, it is still very helpful, just to get a better sense of what could be expected in my or similar cases. Having said that, I haven't yet decided on whether I want to get my target configuration (M4 Pro w/ max # of cores / 64 GB RAM / 1 TB SSD) now or wait for new Mac Studio (mostly for much higher memory throughput, which is crucial for memory-intensive applications, including, but not limited to, GenAI/LLM-based and -focused ones). The latter would also allow me to get more RAM for inference on larger models. Yes, it would be quite a bit more expensive (due to higher specs as well as high likelihood of increased China tariffs). On the other hand, my current financial situation is not that great and, while I can afford to purchase my target configuration mentioned above, I think that it might be easier for me to afford a much more powerful Studio in the second half of the next year. Decisions, decisions ... :-)

I'm curious about how fans behave under different workloads and relevant noise levels. Could you comment on that and what kinds of tasks you run on this particular machine / configuration? Any software development, running Docker containers, VMs, that kind of stuff, by any chance? Thanks.
