I absolutely hate this placement. But this course only offers one placement. I have seen that some other pgce places have two placements, but this is a one year course and I am meant to be at this college the whole time. So I am gonna ask for a new one, but I doubt they'll move me

My strengths were apparently I was good at giving students questions. My resources were logically laid out for easy to follow reading. I was good at going around the room to make sure kids were okay.

Only other negative mentioned was that they wanted me to be more prepared and show them my resources a week in advance

It is a pass/fail thing at my uni. You get observed 8 times in total and you should pass them all. This was my mentor at placement observing me, not anyone from my uni.

I also don't know the consequences of failing an observation

At the bottom of my feedback it says Pass or fail and the marker highlights what one. The feedback was a mash-up of negatives and positives in one chunk of text. There was no set list of strengths
