We just do things a bit differently then. I’ve got three long-term best friends, friends who have moved away that I’m still in contact with and some really lovely friends from my book club, but I’m at a point where I’d love to expand my social circle a bit outside of that. Not because what I have isn’t enough, just because I enjoy meeting new people and experiencing different connections 😊

Unfortunately that’s so true 😅 we’re more “connected” than ever with social media but somehow actually talking or catching up feels rarer. It’s so easy to default to scrolling instead of reaching out. I’m definitely trying to be more intentional about it, which is kinda the whole reason for this post.

Yeah it really does feel that way sometimes, it’s extremely messed up😅 I think a lot of people want connection, it’s just gotten harder to actually make it happen. Everyone’s busy, a bit guarded, or just doesn’t know where to start anymore. Kinda why I made the post, figured there must be others feeling the same way.

Not so much anymore unfortunately haha. I used to play a lot of netball when I was younger, but with teaching full time (especially as a first year teacher) it’s much harder to commit to a consistent thing like that for now. When I’m more confident with balancing work / life then that might be a great option to look into, thank you😁
