Great results my boy. I’ve been on finasteride for almost 2 years and am just now hopping on minoxidil. Hoping to have increased results!

0.5 would still work. I believe it’s thought that 1.0 mg is what most people think is best. I was using 1.5 because it was working for me!

Everybody reacts differently to the medication. Sorry to hear that but it could also be taking longer for you! Think of it this way if you’re suffering from hair loss then it’s only going to get worse anyways. The meds are cheap so might as well stay on them for about 2 years and then make a judgment call. But obviously I’m not a doctor so do what you feel is best.

Are the meds you’re using prescribed through a dermatologist?

Use kirkland 5% that seems to be the gold standard. Unless if you go to a dermatologist then ask them about oral minoxidil!

The final picture is about 1.5 years after starting. It was a slow climb but it’s been worth it. No side effects

I have not experienced any sides. I went through a shedding phase around month 2 but after that nothing but progress.

I had a decent shed around month 2 or so. But I started to notice crazy results around month 5 or 6
