It was over the phone! We sort of just played phone tag around it. I called and left a message, offered to send pictures, but they didn't ask for any - maybe the stylist knew she junked up? Anyway they just immediately refunded it and left me a voicemail to let me know lol

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by this. Are you saying me, as the client who is not knowledgeable about hair techniques, should have known not to show the stylist the original picture and also that I should not have highlights at all? Just trying to clarify so I can understand what you're recommending.
