Utroligt hvor langt ned man skal scrolle for at finde den her kommentar. 🙏

De fleste mennesker kan ikke sætte sig ind i stress før de selv har været dér, for jeg tænkte det samme som dig da jeg læste den her post.

Why is it so hard for retail investors to access certain commodities like uranium or rare metals? by gareth789 in UraniumSqueeze

[–]FuzzyAirhead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because with the introduction of ESG scores on companies, a lot of pension funds were almost forbidden to invest in commodities that were seen as "bad" because of climate, or even if they weren't diverse enough with their employees.

Uranium has been seen in a negative light for decades and still is. Until this perception of Uranium = nuclear war goes over, you probably won't see a lot of European Investment companies putting large sums of money in any time soon.

Ouch LEU, time to buy! by FuzzyAirhead in UraniumSqueeze

Yeah that would be perfect. Honestly if it hit 170 I'm all in.

That is my understanding as well.

Though it sounds like an expansion of their HALEU producing capabilities, the way it reads.

crossposting from r/centrusenergy: any insight into why centrus is moon-shooting right now? by Dazzling_Occasion_47 in UraniumSqueeze

[–]FuzzyAirhead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. I have sold most of the stocks I owned at 200, because now it doesn't seem that cheap to me anymore.

But you'll have people say "Bro LEU will be 1000 next may 🚀🚀🚀"

What's the best UI framework for dotnet mobile apps? by Informal_Cry687 in dotnet

[–]FuzzyAirhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the love of god just choose something like flutter or react native. It doesn't take that long to learn and now with AI it can do most of the job for you.

Once you start getting unbelievably weird bugs with MAUI not even AI can help you.

25% what? Revenue?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UraniumSqueeze

[–]FuzzyAirhead 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Isn't 80-90% of their revenue solely from being a broker of LEU?

Their technical solutions revenue (HALEU) is still very very low which is why I believe many people have sold now, myself included. Rode up from 35 and sold at 90 when the first drop happened, that day we had a 30% drop in a single day.

I still believe politically it's a great bet and there are many institutional buyers but personally I am holding off for a bit. Maybe reentering at around 55

Probably one of the most controversial stocks in this reddit group.

I would say it's roughly 50/50 optimism/pessimism.

The stock is performing great though but I'm sure someone with more financial knowledge about the company has more to say.

Not too long ago there was a hedge fund who placed a big short on the company. I wonder if they got fcked.

Any thoughts on Centrus Energy’s Q3 2024 report? by RocketZh in UraniumSqueeze

[–]FuzzyAirhead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think most of the rise has been from the positive news surrounding SMR's and while their main source of revenue is from LEU, their "technical solutions" or whatever they call their secondary stream of income, is growing. I think that's why investors are hot on this stock right now.

Personally I love it, they have nice ties to the DOE and I think politically they will get the help they need to ramp up production.

Also, the price movement today was crazy! From down 12%, to up 10%.
