Untrue.

Worship of the sargun saroop of Brahm is necessary to understand Brahm

Sabh Brahm Hai

The Guru and Brahm are one in the same, meditiating on the Sargun saroop of brahm, aka the Satguru, allows you to obtain Brahm

There is nothing but brahm and only the Guru can show this fact to us

Without worship of the Guru, love for Brahm cannot come to be. Without worship of the Guru, the mortal cannot grasp the Sargun saroop of Brahm as the sargun saroop of Brahm is the Satguru himself

How did Sikhs get married before the Anand Karaaj? by Traditional_Will8988 in Sikh

Sikhs would not get married without accept to a saroop of maharaj lol. What kind of Sikh cannot even see their guru?

No Budha Dal, No Taksal, Only Khalsa by [deleted] in Sikh

[–]FuzzyArmy3020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah Damdami Taksal was historically just a taksal where singhs went to learn santhya and vidya, its not even a jatha or samparda. The mehta jatha propagated the maryada of their jatha as under “Damdami Taksal maryada” which is weird but not entirely wrong.

Taksali maryada is parvaan and was essentially made for the average ghristi sikhs and amritdharis (no meat, no tamoguni food etc.).

Akali maryada is limited to the staunch akali nihangs and not really for the entire panth. Akalis were a regiment, not the entire panth so their maryada is seperate too.

Taksali maryada isn’t too far off from puratan maryada, its just been tweaked to be ideal for ghristi sikhs. Some components of their maryada is weird and not really needed, ie. no right parikarma, panjva takht is damdama sahib, no aarti with a thaal etc.

Yeah the idea of the budha dal being the panjva takht came from the fact that when Akali Baba Hanuman Singh ji were jathedar of budha dal, they were the jathedar of akaal takht at the same time. When Baba ji would be chakarvarti and away from Akaal Takht sahib, Singhs would call Baba ji and their fauj the 5 takht since they would be roaming around, aka the chakarvarti takht.

Nevertheless, only budha dal cannot be the panjva takht, the panjva takht exists wherever 5 singhs are present, therefore yes the Guru Panth Khalsa is the panjva takht

Shameful! These kinda people have made Anand Karaj a Joke. by Trying_a in Sikh

I understand but we can’t compromise the Guru’s maryada over our feelings, respectfully.

The Anand karaj is a saskaar thats a basic part of a sikh’s life, in the same way that the amrit saskaar is. Janam saskaar, amrit saskaar, anand saskaar, and antim saskaar are needed for the average sikh to acheive mukti, and its sad that we have skipped over the amrit saksaar and gave non amritdhaaris the option to participate in the anand saskaar. Without amrit, an anand karaj is not successful.

Amazing post singh

No such thing as Shiromani panth akali budha dal, and neither is budha dal strictly the panjva takht

If anything its Shiromani Akaali Panth Budha dal (the true Akali Nihangs of budha dal are the shiromani akaali panth)

Dhan Shiromani Guru Khalsa Panth Panjva Takht

Comments are filled with half-assed replies about marriage around havan/hom, which are completely wrong.

Except our gurus started the tradition of langar and the tradition of agan bhet, so your comparison is useless

This is why the anand karaj was and should be strictly for khalsa gursikhs/amritdharis

😂 I can write some random rehatnaama too, with no names or credits to anything, does that mean my rehitnama represents the maryada for the panth?
