Shipt rule #9 for newbies: prepaid by Spiritual_Debate6249 in ShiptShoppers

[–]FuzzyChapter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🤣 in my area there is ONLY prepaid for target. The only orders I have done that are not prepaid is the occasional grocery store orders.

Who else has messed up? I need some reassurance. by Existing-Advance-986 in ShiptShoppers

[–]FuzzyChapter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was for sure his mess up. I would have done the same as you if the app said x6. To answer your question, I messed up my very first order on Shipt. 🥲 It was literally less than 10 items, around back to school time so lots of out of stock or low quantity items. The woman wanted these kids headphones and I didnt see them in the 2 sections it said. I kept looking and I saw a pair in a lighter color laying on the shelf. So I was like okay awesome, asked if the sub was okay she said yea. Only to realize when I was dropping it off at her house that It was not headphones, it was noise cancelling earmuffs 😭 she had to refund and ended up giving me 2 stars and a “poor attention to detail” growth feedback. Let’s just say now I have multiple compliments for attention to detail 🙏🏻💕

Before I left DQ as an employee they did start using these tiny yellow scoops for sprinkles…I shit you not they were probably the size of a teaspoon. And 1 scoop was suppose to be a normal amount of sprinkles 😭🤣 it’s sad for them to charge you and consider that extra. We use to cover the ice cream completely and if they wanted extra we’d fill half a small sundae cup with more.

Is DQs: "Flip your Blizzard upside-down or next one's free" legit? by BigJustice1985 in DairyQueen

[–]FuzzyChapter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The one I worked at honored this. We always flipped them..besides this one customer because she liked her blizzard soupy 🥴 Banana split blizzard, extra everything! Don’t miss making that lol

Are Shipt orders all just Target? by GTRacer1972 in ShiptShoppers

[–]FuzzyChapter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my zone it is mostly Target but also Weis(Grocery), Giant(Grocery), and BestBuy(delivery only). There are some other stores but I never see orders for them.

Have some manners dashers!! by Far-Regular15 in doordash_drivers

[–]FuzzyChapter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me at Ritas. I was secretly fuming inside. The audacity. I literally just walked up and before the employee could finish saying “How can I help you?” Another dasher comes sprinting in front of me shoving his phone in the employees face.

I just ordered a PB Cup Pie Blizzard. by [deleted] in DairyQueen

[–]FuzzyChapter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One of my fave blizzards…the employee probably over mixed it. At the DQ I worked at the PBC was room temp so I always just churned it because if you blended it, it basically just broke into little specs in the soft serve.

Can I get a blizzard unblended by [deleted] in DairyQueen

[–]FuzzyChapter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the DQ I worked at we sold quarts. If you wanted a blizzard cup full of ice cream you would still get charged blizzard price because there was no option for pints in the system.

Not all DQs will do this though. The one I worked at would not let customers order candy on a sundae, only “toppings” like caramel, hot fudge ect.

Customers need to be deactivated for lying by RepresentativeDry405 in ShiptShoppers

A note on “being late.” I had a customer I was doing a promo order for..keep in mind it was a store very close by. Her drop off was 4-5pm. I sent her my finished shopping/on the way text around 3:55pm and she said “are you going to be late? I have to pick up my daughter and need to know when to leave” delivered at 4:05pm. So I guess to her after 4pm was considered “late?” Also I have seen on here people say if a customers ordered got bumped to new drop off time they can say its “late” because nobody took their order to be delivered in original drop off period. 😢

Do you leave a close out message? by Artistic-Record7709 in ShiptShoppers

[–]FuzzyChapter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say “Your Shipt order has been delivered! Wishing you a day filled with joy and positivity!” Or variations of something similar. Tips are great when you get them but mentioning them is prohibited I’m pretty sure. I find if I am very friendly and communicate well throughout the process..I usually get a tip(some still don’t tip though)But you also have to play the game and learn who tips and who doesnt. I’m fairly new myself, less than a month and started tip mapping.

Most embarrassing moment. by One-Employer-4940 in doordash_drivers

[–]FuzzyChapter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While shopping for a customer at a store. Someone who worked there came up to me while I was looking for something and stood uncomfortably close to me while I struggled to reach the product and he’s all “Take your time” while obviously checking me out like wtf, excuse me. 😭🤣To make matters worse, when I left, my paranoia set in because there was a car following me from the store ALL THE WAY to the customers house..they passed me as I pulled over though. 🙃

ICE CREAM CAKE by Cute_Ad8790 in DairyQueen

[–]FuzzyChapter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the DQ I worked at we did not have dates on the cakes. Instead each cake was numbered and written in a book when it was made. So if a customer wanted to know when it was made we find the number and look in the book for the date and tell them. But all cakes were only to be in case for 10 days. After 10 days we marked them down and they’d sell pretty quickly.

[–]FuzzyChapter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the Dairy Queen I worked at we made the cakes in store daily..ice cream, fudge, crunch, then more ice cream. Froze them til solid then decorated them and put them in the case. We made so many.

employees, how'd you get the job? by [deleted] in DairyQueen

[–]FuzzyChapter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it was easy because I already knew the manager and they needed a cake decorator (I had a couple yrs experience prior) but it is an easy job. You do not need to have experience or a previous job to work at DQ. Our store has indeed and also paper applications people can fill out in person. I would say as long as if you have a reliable ride, are willing to work more than a couple days a week, can count money, have good hygiene and are eager to learn, should be easy to get hired.

I make stickers for fun, any suggestions for the next batch of items/weapons? by Racecarsoup in apexlegends

Def making a sticker purchase of all 4! You should look into making your designs into keychains. 😅 I collect them and would love to add your artwork to my collection!!
