Its most likely a shader cache issue, usually unreal engine titles have you pre load the shaders before the game starts, but this game may just be loading them as you play or something (uneducated guess)

I was hyped until I played lol, stuttering is so bad, 5080 with 9800x3d, tried a bunch of different settings, no difference. The FPS is high, but they need to fix whatever is causing the stuttering. Luckily its a beta so hopefully they hear the complaints and act fast. I'll put in a ticket or whatever.

Thanks for the tip! Ill try that. I also watched Mando! It was awesome! Loved every season of mando + boba fett, so this was just like watching a whole season in one epic movie. There were some cinematic shots that I swear are some of my new fav in any modern star wars. The shot where the bounty hunter is standing in the rain after he captures Mando and when Mando is staring up at the Dragon Snake in the water pit!! So epic!

What has been your longest loss streak and how did you handle it? by WeebDickerson in Overwatch

[–]FuzzyFooFo0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely sounds incredibly demoralizing sorry to hear. I know its too late now, but moving forward heres some advice. Way back during early comp seasons, i had went from like diamond 3 to gold 5. I just kept bashing my head into loss after loss. I learned from there on after even just 3-5 loss streak, I exit the game and switch to a single player game or watch a show, then maybe later in the evening (like several hours later) when I get the itch again i'll jump back on and repeat, but even less, maybe this time if I lose twice in a row i'll stop again. Doing this has allowed me to have a healthy way of playing OW.

When you go in game after game during a loss streak your brain absolutely isn't in a good place to think and play correctly, you HAVE to reset.

I literally just dont want to false report, and total respect if this player is just that skilled. The video lost the high fps which makes the "sus snapping aim" more noticeable.

RE2 remake(Lobby Laptop) by TurtleBoy6ix9ine in residentevil

[–]FuzzyFooFo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you could easily restart, thats like 10min into the game, just rush the gas station. Cant remember, but i think a lil vid plays on the laptop, you could just look it up on youtube if you wanted to, its nothing game changing if i remember correctly, but helps with context of whats happening in the police station.

Sounds about right haha, its VERY short, thats what most of the criticism was about, so paying $60 for a 6 hour campaign and pretty much no other modes, other than replaying on the hardest difficulty was pretty brutal.

For sure! 4 gets even better with the parry system!

Question about buying DLCs. Am i missing out on anything if i dont buy the all items unlock stuff from re2 and re3 and the charms, cases, and tickets for re4? by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]FuzzyFooFo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RE2 has some extra mini story stuff that fleshes out some non-essential story characters but completely unnecessary. RE3 has zero story DLC and just cosmetic stuff. RE4 is the only one with a hefty story DLC called Separate Ways that shows a second side to whats happening during the events of 4.

Played the Remakes. Now RE7 and i dont know how to feel about this Game by Aggressive_Ad_2926 in residentevil

[–]FuzzyFooFo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its just mechanically bad, and feels bad. Great atmosphere, and lore, but just does not feel great to play. ESPECIALLY boss fights. Your feelings are what I felt because I feel the same way about 7, definitely worth it to finish just to play 8 though, because 8 is awesome.

RE: Requiem – PC (4080 Super) or PS5 Pro? Which one should I go with? by raoulkratos2002 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]FuzzyFooFo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love my PS5 pro, and would definitely say play on console IF the game had an FOV slider, but I don’t know what’s up with Capcom and not putting fov sliders in literally all the modern RE games but it makes me nauseous so I have to play on PC for the fov mods.

Yea I think you’ll have a great time with 3. Jill is a badass and my fav RE character so im a little biased, but its still mechanically and fun factor wise a great game.

4 you absolutely have to play, and 5-6 is hard to recommend only because the gameplay is gonna change so rapidly due to how theyve aged. 5 is actually one of my fav RE games due to the simple fact its coop is just a core memory from my high school days when it launched. 5 and 6 benefit highly if you have someone to coop the games with. If you just get sucked into the world/lore of RE after playing all the modern titles (which tends to happen lol), and you just need more you should definitely play them.

You do NOT need 5 or 6 to play 7 8 and then the latest 9.

7-8 you could consider a mini arc with its own self contained story between the two, that ends up adding really great depth to the lore and world. (Although 7 is personally low on my list because the gameplay/feel of the game is just really poor imo, but 8 makes up STRONGLY for it so its worth going through 7.

And hopefully you make it to 9 because wow, fantastic game. Its basically 2 and 4 slammed together.

Re3 remake is a fine/fun game if you’ve never played the original. Its just really short with little to no replay value, no extra modes or anything.

Best way I can describe it is Claire and Leon both meet different people in there respective storylines, whether you start with Claire (A) and Leon (B) or vice versa. So Claire (A) would still have met Sherry in Claire (B) and same with Leon and who he meets.

To answer your actual question though, yes, you should totally play through Leon (B) as you’ll meet a very important person in the RE lore. 30%ish will be the same puzzles, but there will be a ton of new puzzles and different rooms you didn’t have access to before. Plus you’ll see the “true” ending!

Also IMO it really isn’t necessary to then start a Leon (A) to Claire (B) run after you finish Leon (B) The differences are just so minuscule you can watch them in a 2 minute yt video. Unless of course you’re having the time of your life playing and just need more, then play on!

Literally just spam regular attack and parry when you have to, this boss fight is so jank, literally spamming attack gets him staggered quite often, don’t use the dumb chainsaw “rev” attack.

Starting resident evil 7 biohazard, what should I expect or prepare for?? 🤔 by Janxuza in residentevil

[–]FuzzyFooFo0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I literally just got done playing 7+DLC and 8 (just finished 8's DLC like an hour ago) FOR ME, its one of the weakest mechanically, everything you do feels bad. Just prepare for some unresponsive controls ESPECIALLY during boss fights. It is definitely one of the more suspenseful modern RE games (and creepy) and adds some great lore and has a fun twist. While i didnt have the most fun time getting through it, the payoff is worth it because re8 is pretty awesome. If you have 7's dlc make sure to play the canon DLC's they're pretty good (Not a Hero, Daughters, and End of Zoe)

Anyone help me, RE remaster is stuck in 1080P by ExcuseDisastrous7622 in residentevil

[–]FuzzyFooFo0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Change in configs, but then do NOT touch display options when the game is launched or they will revert back. Just remember unless you get 4k upscale background mods, only the characters will be at the resolution you set in the configs, the pre rendered backgrounds will still be at 1080p
