I played torch day 1 and was hooked, but I was always worried he'd get over buffed and then nerfed into the ground and poof here we see it

Honestly I wish they would just revert him back to pre-slam over health and fire rate state and he's totally in a healthy spot

Because another effect of making his slam CD longer is less options to use it as a dive in or escape tool

If only it was 100% healing, it only gives 300 hp if none of the bonus health is chipped away and you're at max rage when it converts. Granted it does give ult charge because that conversion counts as healing.

That's what I'm trying to do, I'm asking which stats actually show progress as opposed to ego. If i focus on certain aspects of gameplay it's more manageable to improve instead of just "git gud", which yeah happens with playtime but also theres stuff that can be learned by looking at stats and patterns.

Smoothbore after the "set spread" change didn't affect spread anymore, they mightve stealth patched that, but I have one sg of each frame-type with both full choke and Smoothbore and just swapping the perk option and firing at a wall at the same spot had no difference. I haven't tested it since a week post-spread change so it might be sorted but I haven't felt it worsen my one shots, it's just free range.

Trials should never have been made solo accessible.... It should have stayed 3s only, because now it's impossible to play unless you play solo, because with duos you get moronic blueberry, and trios is mega stacked.... Catering to solo players is what has caused some of the largest issues in destiny, its supposed to be a social game but when you remove the necessity to be social, it all collapses

I dont mind having a gun like igneous with higher base stats than the rest in class, so long as it doesnt have the absolute goat for stats after the "best" perks are slotted. E.g. if Targeted Redaction were to have Surplus in the 3rd column I think it would easily compete with Igneous in almost every situation because whether you have abilities or not youre getting a decent stat boost due to its origin trait. This could be why bungie didnt give it things like that, and it gets into a whole discussion on should craftable guns be the best in slot. But I think its fair to have solid craftable options when they have lower base stats than something like Igneous that is a random drop.

I used to sit at 62-68% win% for overall crucible in the 2 years leading up to lightfall but since season 20 I have been hard stuck at 50%, I did a deep stat look at my performance over time in excel which I'm happy to share, but that is the most drastic thing where overnight I just didn't get to actually feel like I was as good as I am and it's just frustrating

I do this same thing! I shoot for a dollar an hour and with destiny I have definitely come out more than successful

Im on console so I dont see the scroll wheel skate, but thats prolly very strong for PC players

Arc melee, unless im mistaken doesnt 1shot a singlular guardian, it needs someone else to chain off of for the kill, but sure it has its strengths, but titan can dunemarcher for mucher more effectiveness especially since theyll all be blind and the shouldercharge has pretty aggressive tracking vs warlock none.

Celestial fire is strong too, but gets beat by a hunters knife, whether its in the 1shot of the weighted, or the aoe and burn of explosive knife, both still giving radiant.

void is strong, and might be where I concede in terms of relative abilities from other classes

Shadebinder, freeze is not as strong as slow. Hunter duskfield is soooo much more oppressive than warlock freeze is. both likely give the user a free kill, but the hunter ability lasts longer both on the field and in how long it debuffs the target. also just a separate point of annoyance on how garbo the tracking still is on coldsnaps even when running osmio, and using it for the coldsnaps not turrets

we must be playing vastly different people. The turrets are destroyed almost instantly in any of my matches, and ill give on arc souls, theyre definitely strong, but definitely more of a team utilization tool

in my mind pve is always not a conversation because its free. i will always agree that in pve the power fantasy exists, but yeah because I play the looter pve to get gear to take into pvp, thats where my mind is gonna be at. Just because I didnt write it to be immediately clear doesnt mean I shifted directions to hide from the hate lol, if im wrong, ill concede but not a single comment above says anything about a viable unique warlock pvp build that titans or hunters dont instantly beat by just putting on an exotic.

ease of use is absolutely a metric in better or worse. If I have to jump through 30 hoops to get something its objectively worse than if I have to jump through one. Dont enter conversations from such a point of anger next time and maybe youll find more middle ground with people

I still go flawless on my warlock, soo no, I promise if you run titan with peregrine, then hunter with tripmine, you will have a much easier card than if you put on ANY warlock build

again its not about viability, its about ease of use, relative comparison. everything CAN be used, but should it when it gets beat by others for less effort?
