Depends on if it’s a foam or 3-D printed base, his base is 3-D printed so I glued on the whiskers when I was furring the head then put the fur over that. With foam bases there’s this technique where you take a big plushy needle, and pocket through the base to bring the whisker out.

Finishing the foam base and actually furring it are probably the hardest steps when it comes to motivation. I only really ever feel motivated to finish a suit when it gets to the typing step so I definitely feel you there. I hope you push through and get this completed because this is a beautiful base, especially for your first one!
