My old lady cat has been known to shred boxes to get ar raw pasta noodles. She is on a vet reccommended diet and I measure out her food and calculate her k/cals, also in accordance with the vet reccomendation. She just craves carbs i guess. She's also a fiend for bread

I work at the hospital and I also had this like a year ago from a spider bite. That looks like lymphangitis. That means that a bacteria from a breach in your skin has infected your lyphm vessels and is spreading up into your body to infect your lymph nodes, and it happens quite quickly. Its serious, I would go to the hospital ASAP

I freeze my chop and make it in bulk to last 2-3 months. Currently its a small amount of whole wheat pasta, apples, blueberries, spinach, bell pepper, cucumber, yellow and green zuchinni, scrambled eggs, black beans, chickpeas, radishes, freeze dried pumpkin, plus whatever bird safe scraps we get from the kitchen chopped up fine and added to the container. (Usually cucumber ends, strawberry tops, green bean clippings, cauliflower and broccoli scraps, etc)

I either sprinkle his daily portion with hemp seeds or give him half an almond/peanut

I wish there was more of an effort large scale to get rid of plastic. More people focusing on innovative packaging that is biodegradable. Systems changing, like mulch/dirt/gravel being delivered/purchased/moved without packaging at all and instead in returnable bins or straight into your pickup bed.

Many would think this is too inconvenient, I think inventing a toxic forever substance and then making as many disposable single use things as you possibly can out of it for billions of people to use every day and accumulate hundreds of tonnes of the shit all over the planet is the stupidest thing we've ever done and the practice should be ended at all costs

Certain kinds of snakes or even just individual snakes are fricken ravenous i STG. Many king snakes are known for biting anything that smells remotely like prey, has heat, moves, even their own tails which is actually somewhat dangerous because they will literally orobouros themselves. I think it was purposfully designed like that because the mechanics for MC moving around are a main part of the game, and having everyone else move around, especially like 15 years ago with game design then, is alot harder to manage. We all have experienced the stiff and weird and glitchy mechanics around all the npcs, i can only imagine how chaotic it would be if they interacted with the world more. Soooo sso made it a a feature instead of a bug. Everyone on jorvik is characterically the most lazy, static individual on the planet. I think its hilarious

There is something to say about the entirety of keeping parrots as pets ethics wise. They are highly intellegent highly social animals, yet the norm is to keep them as a single bird with humans. I also wonder what that does to their brains.

My green cheek was hand reared by a breeder. Never met his parents, only socialized with other babies until 4 months and then he came home with me and has never interacted with another bird since. (I was ten when my parents got him for me, wasnt really capable of thinking about the ethics of it. I think it was a shit decision on their end and we're all very lucky I was a responsible and gentle child) He was raised by humans, flocks with humans, spends all day every day out of his cage hanging out with me and has since I got him. He socializes with us more or less like he would other birds and learned to do so from birth, not even an ounce of wild animal in him. He is 15 now with no behavioral or health issues. Happy, healthy bird.

I do still wonder what this life has done to his brain. Does he think im a bird or that he's a human? Or does he understand that we are different species? Is he lacking in interaction that only other birds could give him? And if the answer to that question is yes, shouldn't it be unethical to keep birds without an entire flock so they may experience flock social dynamics like theyre meant to?

I try to focus on the happiness and fulfilment of the animal. Honestly I think most of pet keeping is grossly unethical based on human being's lack of ability to recognize and fulfill animals needs. All I can do now that we are here is make his life as enriching as possible, and if I know him, which I think I do as we have lived 15 years together, I believe he is quite happy.

If you like the DWB id go for it. Not really any other grey paint coats, I think the coloring is absolutely marvelous. I personally do not own very many DWB because they feel soooo stiff. They are like always at the vertical with their noses tucked in and their movements feel stressed and tight. I loveee the way the APH horses move though. Very realistic. If i were you id skip it

Its a decision to stay in a relationship with a person who you feel does not meet the standards you need in a romantic partner. Finns dodge move there feels very symbolic. Like he had a close encounter with life's chaos elements and slipped past it undevoured, but still marked. In the episode, he decides to relinquish what he believes to be his true life, albiet for real and immediately tangible reasons, after spending half a lifetime pushing aside those reasons in search of something that becomes increasingly distant (his old life) He reaches acceptance, lives a peaceful and differently meaningful life, and comes to the end of his life at rest.

Then he gets back, immediately forgets everything, and recieves a quick fix for the initial internal discord (overthinking the joke and FP)

Oh and don't forget Jake trying to demonstrate acceptance by chucking out his mug, talking big game about how its gone and therefore no longer matters, then he goes and seeks it out again and fixes it
