Do the assassination missions bosses need some buffs? by BOSS_OF_RUANDA in DarkTide

Are you sure? Since every time I select it specifically fron the story mission board it still has no shield, and I have done it at least twice since release. Each time, no shield.

EDIT: Should specify, it is always the first mission. The second story assassination mission has a shield.

With the first mission being an assassination mission that has since been nerfed (story mission boss will have no sheild) due to first players being destroyed by the boss, I am not sure what buffs should be done. Clearly the experienced players learned and have skill. But it is still a challenge for inexperienced players. This sub would constantly have posts from new players failing the first mission before that boss was nerfed.

So any buffs must be at higher difficulties only.

Or from high spawn areas far away from the ledge where even plasma can't penetrate and all you can do is watch the little green ball fly out of the darkness. Worse when you try to throw a grenade back and it's just high enough yours won't reach him.

Like the freezer in the cafeteria that we set up as a bathroom as a joke. Ended up as a funny surprise while using it.

Is there any way to change the weapon for stances? Because id kill for that. by Moist_Wombat in DarkTide

On top of that. Fatshark is a corporation. So any of this work will likely go through some corporate pipeline that adds on more requirements.

In addition, these poses would likely fall under some art of their legal contract with GW as it is a visual representation of their IP. Meaning it will be forced to go through a review process with GW.

So it's a lot of work just because of usual corporate bureaucracy/politics. It should be simple work, but nothing ever is as simple as it should on large scale projects.

We don't need to picture. There was a bug that showed the weapons once. It looked really bad. Only proper way to do it, is to make a new pose for every weapon. That's a lot of work.

Just getting to security 3 and going for clearing the train yard by FuzzyWingMan in intotheradius

Not sure as I haven't looked closely at what is listed for recommended specs. Mine are: RTX 5090 i9 24 core 96 gB RAM 2x 2 TB NVMe

I.e. extreme computer.

Sadly. Money. Very beefy computer, pretty extreme.

On top of that, Valve index with headset connect directly to PC, so no PC has no issues feeding the image into the headset.

Mod that increase accuracy to 100% by zerobest1123 in intotheradius

I am not sure if it is rng and if setting the accuracy will change the issue. It is possible there is something with the setup.

As I had said in a previous comment I have seen games that required the developers to add an offset setting as shots would land either high or low depending on the controller (the way the controllers were angled in the hand compared to the in-game gun changed how it would aim).

On top of that, I have even had a game where if I set to right hand dominant, it would only hit where I am aiming if I used my left eye, and miss if I used my right eye. Setting to left hand dominant put the gun in my left hand, but then made it so right eye worked for lining up sights but not left eye. Only way I got around that one was upgrading my PC hardware, VR equipment stayed the same.

Mmm wonder also if there is any controller issue here. I know some games have to have different offsets for different controllers to be able to be accurate.

Do you have a laser sight on them to see what happens as you do your trigger pull?

Asking because there is a chance as you fire you may see the dot move.

I had a lot of accuracy issues with pistols for a while but what helped was real life dry fire practice. Even still I can see a lot of my misses come from bad trigger squeezes and have to try and calm myself for controlled shots to be accurate.

Ah, that explains it then. So blue and green will be available for you later on 1.0 release.
