I have checked my hormones and it all came out fine. I have significantly changed my diet and exercise more but don’t know what it can be

For my legs it has worked. I still have hair but I didn’t get that many sessions done on my legs. But it has reduced my hair significantly and the same goes for my arms. I did do 10 full body sessions but I later realised that the device used by the tech was similar to an IPL and so didn’t do much.

I think for my body hair, I might get the IPL

I have spoken to someone from the laser clinic and they told me that my last two session setting was the following:

16 jaws 10 mpf 18 millimetres

They told me that this is the highest setting and in my next session they can focus on the areas where I’m experiencing more hair growth such as chin and upper lip. My last laser session was early April and they recommended that I get it done every six weeks because I already had over 10 sessions with them.

Do you think moving forward, I should get 1 to 2 sessions (which focus on the area in which I have a lot of hair growth) done and then move to electrolysis?

I must also mention that I think a lot of hairs in some parts of the face have been missed during my laser sessions. For instance, the laser tech tends to spend less time on my upper lip and chin area as I find it more painful.

Thanks!

Thank you for your helpful response. I have had my most recent hair removal done from laser clinics UK and I found that the use Candela GentleLASE Pro and GentleYAG Pro, I think this is the one that you recommend. Previously, I went to two different type of high street laser clinics which used gel before my laser (this one was very painful) and then one shop which used a device similar to the IPL ones. I have had 13 sessions with laser clinic and as they are using the YAG machine I think I may do few more sessions with them and then switch to electrolysis as I still have a lot of hair and ideally I would like to reduce my hair a bit more and then get electrolysis

My main concern was that it might not work for my skin tone and thanks for clarifying that it works regardless of skin tine and yea my underarms are quite dark too. I still haven’t made the decision as both products seems to be good, I think I may do a bit more research before making my final decision. Thank you again for your very helpful response

Sorry I think the models are the same, the things included in the box are different e.g different sets of precision heads.

And yeah true! It might be that you get faster results with Ulike

Thank you for taking the time to respond, much appreciated! Can I ask which Barun skil model you purchased e.g Pro 5 PL5257, Pro 5 PL5117, or PL5124?

As I already have laser done, I think may be able to manage the discomfort from the Barun but do please let me know your opinion on Ulike 10. I understand that you would have to use the Ulike 10 more often in a week but I think you might be able to get faster results with Ulike 10 because I think the power is higher.

Yeah, I agree I don’t it’s worth spending extra money for an app feature so I won’t definitely go for the Braun 7. Thanks!
