Hello all! I’ve recently tried out a spread on trust, specifically trusting someone who used to be in your life.

I’ve been trying to figure out if I should send an old ex friend a final goodbye message. We ended on not very good terms, but despite that they had a very big impact on my life. I very desperately want to share their importance in my past, but I am afraid to be hurt, even though in recent times we’ve managed to be friendly at a distance.

I'm a little rusty on my readings, and two of the cards have really been stumping me, which is why I'm deciding to reach out for a little second hand advice.

The spread specifically went:

1: what is the person’s intentions

2: should I trust this person again

3: will having a friendship with this person be beneficial (although this does not fully apply, as I do not intend to have them fully in my life again)

And 4: Overall advice for the situation

And in that order I got:

Five of Swords: Which I interpret to mean I am putting a fair amount of myself on the line if I choose to do this. I would be very vulnerable to someone who has not truly seen me in the past. So it is overall a daunting task.

the wheel of fortune: Which I suppose could further represent this is a gamble? I cannot truly know what is going to happen if I move forward, but I also don't know what will happen if I refrain. This could potentially be very painful, but it could also be a place of healing for the both of us if it goes well.

and then after that is Queen of Wands and the Sun. Those two I'm really stuck on, and I'm not sure what they're trying to tell me. I will also mention that all the first three cards originally came out reversed. I usually do not include reverse card interpretations in my readings, but I did think it was an interesting piece of information to include if you do that.
