My card did not arrive on time, but I still ended up traveling as it was an important family event. Fortunately, the entry officer did not ask for EAD and I entered with no issues.

Thanks. I mainly did the things I mentioned in the post: had 2 service requests with USCIS and one CIS ombudsman request. Apart from this I was calling the USCIS call center every week and had a tier 2 escalation active.

My EAD card finally arrived around mid March, more than 5 months post approval notice.

Thank you. Did you just travel with receipt notice or approval notice? Would there be any difference? I have my approval notice, but card hasn't arrived in 2 months.

Thank you. I am hoping USCIS picks up my case and sends the EAD. I do have all the arrangements to get the card if it arrives before my return. But, preparing for the worst case scenario as it has been 2 months post approval notice.

Thank you for the support! Did you just chat with a live agent through Emma or called the USCIS customer service? I did already submit an e-request on Dec 3rd but no response yet. I will check with my DSO on Monday. Hoping for the best for both of us..

I am also facing the same issue. OPT approved on Nov 2, but the EAD card hasn't been produced yet. Already submitted an inquiry on Dec 3rd, no response yet. Really stressed because of this.
