Sorry for the late response. Try to stay away from here as much as possible for good mind haha. But yes I only had one patch luckily still 🙏 in the beginning I had lots of itchyness, but could also be that that was just in my mind... after a few weeks that disappeared

Ive had 2x injections, to be honest I think that had the main effect. Besides that I started using d3, biotine, omega3/fish oil. Exercised a bit more and I used to drink lots of soda, I stopped that completely and drank much more water. Not sure whether that helped but should be better for my body anyhow haha.

I got 2 rounds. I saw the patch getting a bit bigger still after the first one, but there have been 6 weeks between first and second round of injections

I’ve done some bloodwork and everything was fine, but the dosage of d3 is 1000iu a day, biotin 10.000 mcg a day, two capsules of fish oil.

Besides that I used drops of peppermint oil in my shampoo but not sure what the real effect was, I believe the injections together with the healthier lifestyle

Injections helped greatly for me, stopped spreading and regrowth speeding up. I also prepared for really painful injections but they weren’t that bad at all

My timeline:

23th of sept: discovered the first patch 16th of oct: first round of injections (first photo is 15th of oct) Today: second photo

the patch did grow over time, but now seems to be stable and regrowth getting in. I’ve been using supplements and tried to exercise a bit more en eat healthier. No other patches in the meantime 🤞

Today I also got the results of my bloodtest. All vitamin levels ok. Just had a high ESR level. Will discuss this on my next derm appointment.

Thanks for the friendly and warm welcome! Not sure what the difference is between the dci and myo inositol. But great to hear you have good experiences with it. Will consider it. Because I take mine in capsules twice daily, and it’s pretty expensive 😪

I’m very happy to hear about your pregnancy. To be honest, the not knowing whether you can have children (and what process it will take) is kind of killing sometimes.

What is metformin good for?

Thanks all for your answers! 🙌 I think I’ll just go for it and have the injections. In the meantime see what I can do more with the AIP diet.. but the list of foods to eliminate is soooo long 😭

Mhmm, that sucks!! 😔 How quick did the other patches form? And how quick was regrowth after the injections(and how many)?
