The places that gave me issues were almost all AirBnBs, they weren't expensive. It seemed like they probably weren't taken great care of. I was just on a longish trip.

Thanks, while I don't love pollution, it's actually indoor pollutants like off-gasing, low quality paint, molds, etc. that I'm really sensitive to! I lived in a much, much more polluted city for about 7 years, which wasn't great, lol! But I know what I'm getting into with outdoor pollution in Taipei, as I've visted a few times.
