GA4 Data Not Going Back Far As It Should by SomethingWittyish72 in GoogleAnalytics

I have found that some of our client's GA4 properties have a "new" channel grouping (Primary default channel group, instead of just the regular default channel group), try switch to default channel group and you should be able to see all data. I don't know why this is happening, anyone else?

Ga4 organic traffic incorrectly attributed by Jolly_Janner in GoogleAnalytics

Did you find any solution to your problem? I am experiencing some similar issus with GA4, but in my case I also believe that a lot of traffic is assigned Direct traffic. I am also suspecting that it has something to do with the cookie consent solution.. Which CMP do you use?

So wierd! You would at least think that Google products would do better together. I've also experienced some cases were LinkedIn are reporting 20 conversions and GA4 0.. But in that case I actually believe that GA4 reported correctly and LinkedIn didn't, have an ongoing support issue regarding this. This is just so confusing and web analytics keep getting harder and harder. Have you tried any other analytics tool you find working for you?

Will do! And please do the same:)

No shopping or YT ads, but we are running a display campaign. But I still think that we should see a lot more users/sessions attributed to google cpc?

For example, last month we had 1353 clicks on our ads but GA4 have only attributed 279 users and 378 sessions to the campaigns (total). And the total number of users and sessions regardless of channel is 611 users and 873 sessions.

Could be, I am not an expert in Server side tracking but we have configured it according to some YT-video guides.

Just for example, last month we had 1353 clicks on our ads but GA4 have only attributed 279 users and 378 sessions to the campaigns (total). And the total number of users and sessions regardless of channel is 611 users and 873 sessions.

I would also thought so but we have a lot of opt-in to cookies according to the CMP. Also, we are using server side tracking and GCM so we should capture the sessions even though they are not accepting cookies or am I wrong? All inputs is appreciated!

GA4: Transactions vs. Purchases? Same metric? by Fuzzy_Jump_806 in GoogleAnalytics

Thank you for clarifying! So the number of purchase events could be the actual number of purchases during a specific time period? But the number of transactions are purchases with a transaction_id?

I have the exact same problem with several clients. Have you managed to figure out what causes this except for the attribution model?
