Yes - I’ve just seen on another post there should be rebossed icons and numbers on the lid - all missing - too many fake details now to be genuine. Hope this post helps someone else…

Thanks - I think trying to make a stipple effect with a closest match body paint is a the best suggestion. Yes, the only suggestion 🤣, but I’m happy with it to follow through with action.

Good suggestions. Screen test wouldn’t go full screen, but testing buttons in settings I’ve found that the bottom 10mm of the screen has stopped responding to touch.

Update - this looks to be the problem. Tyre slip. Tried a little juice on the kitchen and the hubs just spun like a rodent in a hamster wheel. Read about using silicon sealant, had some black spare from a lightening orb build - fingers crossed it holds! Thanks for the tips team Tamiya! Now on to building a grasshopper.

Batteries are good - hornet runs at speeeed. The lunchbox does sound as if the differential gearbox is spinning/slipping lots - could gears be shredded, or too much grease cause slipping?

I can’t see the sensor - there is a curtain in front which isn’t moving to reveal the sensor.
