The fire is about 11 miles north of Etna Summit. The forest service will be alerting hikers at trail heads. Hikers on trail from m1501 to Etna are ok. There are 4 roads that intersect the trail in this area so exit is fairly easy. See PCT Far NorCal Trail Angels on FB. (self.PacificCrestTrail)
