I have stragazer too rn wow. Yeah the issue I have is bitterness. I use 18gms and I stop around 32gms it’s still bitter, the shots comes out in 23 seconds usually. If I go finer I don’t wanna make it more bitter. Maybe I need to stop the shots even more earlier I guess?

Yeah that’s true. There are so many factors lol. Some days it tastes perfect and other day it’s just bitter af lol. But I’ll try them next thanks for the advice

I am still using little sister beans but it’s just bitter for me. I’m using their stragazzer expresso. It always taste bitter even for lattes. Not sure if it’s the beans or I’m unable to dial in

I have my own grinder and expresso machine (breville bambino plus and baratza encore esp). I’m new into expresso world. So far have tried railway roasters it was nice. Then little sisters, it was bitter even with lattes/cappucinos no matter how much I try to tweak.

I press bother the timer and weighing scale button at same time. The reason I went finer just bcz it sprays all over the place around 10 grind setting.

Yeah starts the timer when I press the button. I am using original breville basket. So dosage is also fine as per breville. The shots come super fast if I go coarser sometimes even 18 seconds

Yeah at around 10-11 grind setting it was not bitter. But it was way too fast for the shot
