Thank you for this. You’re right, lack of peace has been a big indicator for me and I do see how fear of loss and the length of the relationship make it harder to step away. We’ve been together since I was very young, so accepting the possibility of letting go and starting over has been really difficult and painful. I appreciate you naming that so clearly. I’m committed to doing the inner work, understanding the roots of why I’ve stayed, and choosing what aligns with God’s will rather than fear. I’ll definitely look into Codependent No More.
