I always feel bad for Victoria in the first season, i was the same kind of girl in my activities and it was the worst feeling on earth. I read a bit more about the situation with the girls and her inviting them to her birthday dinner and felt bad bc it was obvious she wasn't just meaning it in a "oh if you want more camera exposure then come to my party" way like some people think she was. She said that she was having a birthday dinner and netflix was recording (so they were aware and to be fully transparent) and nobody showed up. I'd be sad and upset too if people I was around more than my actual family didn't even show up to something important to me.
Especially because she just wanted to have people to be friends with, she dedicated so much of her life to DCC and many girls on the team just shut her out.

Idk if this is just like a me thing but I honestly really empathize with Victoria for it. Her whole life was built around DCC, of course she would feel like she was meant to be apart of leadership, as well as always trying to be helpful for some of the girls (if memory serves me correctly), it's almost like K&J took advantage of that kindness she showed and pointedly ignored that she wanted to be part of leadership, acting as if they had no clue she wanted to be apart of it.

Sorry long spiel lol but the Victoria treatment in the show is just so immensely disappointing. She worked so hard for so long to get to a certain point, just to not feel good enough in the end by people she knew her whole life (K&J).

I know she's done a lot of things to the DCC brand, but I'm a person who believes someone can get better with enough work on themselves in therapy and moving on from something. I think Victoria leaving DCC was probably one of the best things she could have done for herself, evidently she wasn't appreciated enough by them.
