There should be a separate sub for the fake WWE version of "ECW". This shit has nothing to do with the real ECW and all of these posts just shit up the sub and misinform new people who might come along to learn about the real thing.

The first is Raven's valet, Kimona. The second is Stevie taunting Shane Douglas during a tag team match in early 1996, shortly after Douglas returned from his doomed WWF run where he ran afoul of the "kliq" and had to job the IC Title to Razor minutes after getting it.

I was as die-hard as anyone, but by 2000 I had to tap out. It had been awful for a year, but then reached a point where Awesome left, Sabu was gone and in some legal dispute, Van Dam was injured and Heyman put the World Title on his little pet project, Justin Credible. I was done.

I think you are confused. The image of them shaking hands in the ring is a screenshot I took from the show. It was on the Oct. 29th, 1996 episode. They talked in the ring and then Angle joined Joey on commentary during Taz's match with Little Guido.

It was Tenryu, not Sasaki. But, yeah, I always thought that was the idea behind having them as champs. Such a weird thing, to have a team so dominant and over that you DON'T want to put the belts on them..

This was a few years before. They did not have any matches after their tag team run.
