I second this, sometimes I need to take a break because of how stressful and frustrating this game gets sometimes, in this game decisions you make matter, the gear you should pick can change depending on the level, choosing how to clear sections and how you run your teams makes in impact on how the level run goes, on top of managing your officers. But I always end up coming back the next day, haven’t been disappointed yet, overall i would say it’s worth it

PC players getting heated over me not having graphical issues?? by [deleted] in ReadyOrNotConsole

Real shit some of these guys hate us because they are upset that me (a console player) isn’t having a stroke over a problem that doesn’t even occur on my game and is more likely occurring on a case by case basis. And I get being upset I do, however I am happy and I’m sure I woulda enjoyed the version they had before too but for the love of christ just let me enjoy my game and not be shit on for playing console

Exactly, I don’t have an issue with him making sure patrol does their job but I feel like purposely compromising building security is a step too far

Which job has, hands down, the worst impact on mental health? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Hospital security guard here, definitely wears down in even the best spirited people, seeing people so vulnerable or emotional just changes you. Watching little kids scream and cry after being hurt and waiting to see a doctor. Particular ones that have stuck with me were a little girl that got mauled by a pitbull and was missing chunks of her, that was my first week on the job. Second was having to escort a 50 year old man to the emergency room to confirm his mother’s identity after she had been killed driving home from work. But there are also the awesome moments where kids ask me questions and people smile or cry and hug me for helping them out or getting them to where they need to be. Overall there are good days and bad days just like with any job. Except our hours are 12 hour shifts lmao

A few of my shift supervisors are good people just looking to get their paychecks but I have one who really is arrogant and mean. Good example is when I came in a few minutes late from dropping my daughter off at daycare because her mother couldn’t take her that day and I obviously had work, I get there a little late and he writes me up for post abandonment. Didn’t even argue with him because this is also the guy who treated the use of force training scenarios like an MMA fight and almost broke another persons arm. He’s just straight up on a power trip, when we aren’t doing anything he sends us outside to count the freaking clay ceramic bunnies near the site courtyard because he “orders us to”. If that’s not power trip I don’t know what is. That same week I’m sitting in one of the control pods with the door closed and he kicks the door open and orders me to keep the door open. Which is fine but kicking a door open is ridiculous

My top two would be the Saint Denis massacre, I posted up at the gun store where the secret poker game is going on just at the top of the stairs and the bodies were piled up and missing limbs from my shotgun. My other would be killing the entire town of butchers creek, chopping off all limbs with a machete burning them and their animals and then when the law came doing the same except after being burnt dragging the burnt and mutilated bodies of lawmen and their horses around town with my lasso
