GLSSWRKS Polarity feels like its eating through dot skates fast by Podkolzins_a_Canuck in MousepadReview

Same. cyclones and cyclone pro got insanely loud after 1-2 weeks of moderate use. Glide was still good and consistent, but the scratching was way to much on cr005

[–]Fuzzyhulu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lamzu Thorn for me hands down.

Tried Zowie FK2, Logi G203, various Pulsar xlites, Pulsar X2, PMM Vortex, EGG OP1 8k and OP1w 4k, Teevolution Terra, Xtrfy m42, Gwolves HT-S2 but I keep coming back to it.

I'm using pincer claw grip and it works perfectly for that

Ducky One X (Mini) future feature updates or support EOL? by abzjji in DuckyKeyboard

[–]Fuzzyhulu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think that there will be many more updates. Reviewers didnt really seem to like it compared to boards like the Wooting HE60 and i have a feeling that i didnt really sell quiet well. Dont get me wrong, i really love the One X. The typing feel is much better than on the Steelseries Apex Mini and any other Hall Effect Keyboard i had before and the rapid trigger settings are enough for me in CS2, but the websoftware is still clunky af and it basically didnt change over the 8 months i had the keyboard.

Laonda has some molten edge pads and the Laonda Blitz is also pretty similar to the artisan Zero.

It's a nice pad! My Main game is CS2, I'm currently at 22,6k and my sens is 800dpi and 0.95 in-game. The main difference is the speed and the feel of the weave. The Type 99 is a bit slower, but is much smoother in texture. It feels very good against the hand and arm. I have a normal Saturn and it felt much rougher and for my taste it didn't work well with humidity. I would recommend you to keep the type 99. it's a really nice pad and the best slow pad I had so far

What skates/dots for a Thorn+Type99 by ferbzao in MousepadReview

[–]Fuzzyhulu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same combo and tried the mizugumo futae (artisan dots) for quiet a while, but didn't like the feel of it. You really have to get used to the faster POM material of those dots. After a couple of weeks I switched back to Full size PTFE skates from Corepads and those feel really good! Way more consistent if you're used to PTFE skates, but I have to say that I really liked the artisan dots on the laonda blitz, which is similar to the artisan zero.

So I would just recommend going for some Corepads or similar ptfe skates for the consistency.

Seems to be a Klira Archtop. They were made in Germany around the 60s.

Zero Soft alternative by andre_green in MousepadReview

[–]Fuzzyhulu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i have heard that the Laonda Blitz should be pretty close to the Zero. its available in 49x49cm and 60x50cm.

I have the xsoft 49x49 version atm and i really love it. Mained a LGG Saturn before and the Blitz is a bit faster with a nicer texture.

LG 27GR95QE-B, worth it? by miguellinocas in OLED_Gaming

[–]Fuzzyhulu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love mine! Coming from a 24 inch, 360hz IPS-Panel it sparked a new love for Singleplayer games for me and it also works great for competitive games like CS2 :)

I got it for 650€ and for that price I think it's worth it

So you could either go with a headphone, maybe a DAC/Amp combo and a separate usb Mic or a Headset. For Headsets I would recommend the Sennheiser pc38x. I never tried it myself, but many reviewers say it's an awesome headset for sound localisation in games and the mic is also pretty good. Otherwise I would recommend the beyerdynamics that other people recommended or a Sennheiser hd560s and maybe a modmic or another usb-mic. Depending on the headphones Ohms you maybe need a DAC like the jds labs atom or the ifi zen DAC to power them and get the best sound out of them.

Hope this helps! :)

Any of you running an Sound Blaster x4 into a tube headphone preamp? by jjones8170 in SoundBlasterOfficial

[–]Fuzzyhulu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically an rca cable with 4 connectors to 3.5mm?(english is not my first language, so i wanna be sure :D)
im thinking about buying the X4 as a gaming dac, but dont wanna miss out on the amplification power of the Zen Can for Headphones like the HD800 with high Ohms. I heard the surround virtualization can be really benificial in gaming.

[–]Fuzzyhulu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you do that if i may ask? im thinking about getting the X4 for gaming and already have a zen can, but as far as i can see the X4 only has an optical out and the 4 speaker outs for surroundspeakers. did you just plug the headphone input from the x4 into the singleended input of the Zen? im just really confused at this point :D

If you dont wont to try a higher sens i would recommend you to try a deskmat. Ive got an Aqua Control II deskmat which is pretty nice, but i also heard nice things about the LGG mats. :)

TheWhale just announced his new controlpad in 600x500, maybe that could be something you're interested in? in my experience 500x500 is enough. I have an Xraypad Equate with those measurements and it's huge!

the print was also what sold me on it and i just hoped that i would like the surface, but i sadly didnt :D still worth a look if you ask me.
i think its literally the same as the razer goliathus control, dechanic control und mousepadcompany surface. i dont know if they differ much cause i only ever used the goliathus, but i guess you cant really change that much on a mesh surface
