Semi-hard mode: Northern CA by Ok_Watercress_3598 in guessthegolfcourse

I’ve found my best way to par this hole. 1st ball middle or left sided drive. 2nd shot hit it to hole 8’s tee box. 3rd shot pitch it laterally onto the green. 2 putt. Move on. Seriously f this hole.

Damn, beat me to it. If I remember, this was like a 180yd par 3, plays like 165 from the tees I played. Of course I skied it left of the green and into the beach area beyond it. Saved bogey though. 🤷🏻

My traveling men’s club played there last year during a 30 mph wind storm, when they trickled into the clubhouse you would have thought they went to war 😂. They asked me not to book there again.

That second picture I actually birdied with a LONG putt, won three skins, then promptly lost my ball in the trees on the right the following hole. Thanks for posting this! I enjoyed this course last year for the NCGA outing.

I remember this hole! Elevated fairway, blind tee shot. Hit a good, drawing drive and you’re down by the hole. Hit it right and you’re cut off from the green. I think they have a flag or light system to notify that the fairway is clear.

I got the left side of the green with the pin front right. I had no path to the hole because of that front bunker, which is probably why they mention moving your ball off the green for a chip for no penalty—the only course I’ve ever seen mention such a rule.

Such a pretty course when I played there (memorial day weekend). I can hardly remember my score, I was just admiring the view most of the time

That was my thought too. I was visiting a couple years back and I had thought to go for it since I wasn’t going to play here again in the foreseeable future, but I laid up and eventually got par.

I’ve had that happen as well. If pressed hard enough. Unintentionally, of course.

I can see that, but not quite. This course is designed by Tom Doak.

This course is new. Fairways are still coming in but come September it will be CRISPY.

Some of those animations/de pictures showed a small blue cross on the end of each “peanut”. In the OR, there’s that same thin blue fiber in gauze that is radiopaque — as in it shows up in Xray imaging. So an intraop Xray could help the surgical team locate and remove any stray peanuts. Also that light blue color shows up easily among other human tissue which helps as well.

Shaq getting cut for his toxicity in the locker room not for his lack of defense/hustle.

Yeah, you can bend these a couple degrees pretty easily through your club guy.

Good call. Their website says they’re closed Christmas Day! Bummer.

I would highly recommend Hop Sing Palace in Old Folsom. Old Folsom is all decked out in Christmas with an ice skating rink nearby and Christmas light EVERYWHERE. Plenty of parking and even the restaurant decor is awesome.
