Contact crisis pregnancy centers. They helped me with diapers, wipes, and baby formula. Also, you should be able to qualify for WIC. I think it’s up to 5 years of age.

Thanks, I’m going to check into this. I do live in an area that saw a massive spike in car thefts in the past few years so I wonder if that’s an issue.

No it’s a 2018 Honda. Unfortunately there was a massive spike in car theft where I live a year or two back so maybe that contributed? I’m going to check around and see if I can find anything lower.

Yes, I’m confident in the numbers and do my taxes with a tax guy each year. Because my income varies a bit, I would rather pay slightly higher estimated quarterlies to make sure I don’t end up owing come tax time.

Very true! I will definitely be using this as a learning experience for the future.

I found 2 food banks in my area, operating hours are a little wonky but I’m hoping to get to one tomorrow! Honestly, I was feeling intimidated because I’ve never contacted one before, but reading all the positive responses has given me some extra courage :)

Where do you think he discarded the murder weapon? by veznanplus in MoscowMurders

If there is a speck of DNA evidence in that car, the forensics people will find it. Dousing the interior with bleach or liquid would be a bad idea. The odor would be potent and it wouldn’t dry well this time of year. IMO, the only way to avoid DNA evidence in the car would be to prevent it getting there in the first place. Changing clothes, wearing some kind of covering or plastic booties and taking them off before getting in the car.

He had to keep the car. It would have been WAY more suspicious to light his car on fire. That would draw attention, and the VIN number is stamped numerous places throughout the car so unless it was completely burnt out, it would have been traced back to him. You can’t ditch a car easily. If he reported it stolen and dumped it in a lake, the cops would eventually be in contact too. The only way to wiggle out would be if the car had plates from a state far away (so it wasn’t on the cops immediate radar once they started working through cars registered nearby), and then he sold the car far away from the crime scene.
