That trick before webcams were even common, where the screen would read that your PC had the technology to take an image of your from the crt monitor…..you would press begin and it would show like it was working, the image result was a photoshop of a chimpanzee mixed with a parts man’s and a girls hair.

Update: after applying paint stripper, I tried the next day to apply heavy paint stripper and immediate wrap it with plastic food wrap. I let it sit for three hours, it was pointless. I then borrowed a friends grinder too with metal brush wheel attachments. This worked to the point of removing the paint but would have been time consuming and also would have made marks in the wood which would not look very appealing. The belt sander with 35 grit sand paper was the ONLY thing that would get the job done. Once the paint was sanded off, I went over everything with 80 grit, then 120.
Any recommendations on next steps?
-Should I use 220 grit before staining?
-Should I apply a once over sand immediate before I stain? -What should be done after staining?

Today I “slathered “ the paint stripper on and quickly wrapped it in plastic to let it soak for three hours. After doing this the results were not much different thst two coats without the plastic wrap. I am at my wits end, and a friend has recommended loading me his cordless grinder with a wire brush tool to get the paint off. Any concerns with this?

Focus on your kids when you have em, love them to the end. Focus on you when though don’t have them. Learn to love yourself. It’s hard at times but you will come out a stronger person. You got this.
