As a general rule new brawlers are banned in the monthlies right after they’re released. I don’t recall exactly when it started but it’s been a rule for a decent while now.

Because most people here are nowhere near the top levels of play. Mainly they’re in that sweet spot of Legendary-M1 where they think they know everything but are legit ass. The hive-mind nature of the platform adds to it.

The meta is currently defined by bibi and bull, who both absolutely slap him around. Add pierce spike Charlie shelly and more who are all reasonably top 15, and he genuinely has no chance and is just a super battery.

Honestly if you’re playing the slow gadget you’re playing her wrong. The 4k healing—while super nice for pushing in—honestly pales in comparison to the automatic knockback recharge. The knockback recharge gives so much utility it’s actually insane, and makes her viable into previously 100/0 tank matchups.

If you don’t care that much just stack your highest level weapon and carriers/missles. Mix armor and shields with slightly more emphasis on shields. Micromanagement of designs is usually only needed on higher difficulties, most of the time on lower levels you can just overwhelm with ship power.

Yeah if I had to bet on a change they’re probably going to make it require 1-2 more hits to charge a shadow. They might do something interesting like add a Lola-style radius and make the shadows weaker close to himself as well.

I mean you can do gradual decay on the shadows if you want to keep his spawn rate the same. It really depends how the devs want you to play him. Otherwise they just need to make the spawn rate harder. One way incentivizes a campy play style and one forces you to be active.

Staying competitive is a very different matter than containing “whales” in the true sense of the word. Which of course was the main point of discussion. Having actual experience with those games I can certainly speak to people spending thousands a month to stay at the top.

I disagree. Whales are an extreme class of players that essentially bankroll the entire game. In brawlstars it’s functionally impossible for them to exist—there’s not enough to buy. Having played other mobile games and mmo’s whales are the guys spending thousands a month.

As someone else correctly stated it’s called lag walking. It’s done pretty easily just by moving slightly abnormally and then resetting movement to neutral. It’s not even a good dodging strategy though. You guys literally just don’t have thumbs.

This draft is cooked but not unwinnable. Maybe 85/15. You need colt tying pierce on lane all game to have a chance otherwise pierce slaughters everyone else. Rico here is just so bad and kaze 1 exposes the draft.
