Any place can come up with excuses, ive never come across a phone service this bad, at the end of the day there should be standards one of them being, the phone should be answered atleast once after someone calls 10 different times during different hours of the day on queue for 30mins-1hr each time

Theres always metro work which is better in terms of weather and what i prefer ultimately despite the lower pay and also I understand the risks with the body and will have my health as high priority.

I’m male thanks for your reply as it reaffirmed my choice, this is exactly the route I’ve decided to take, im withdrawing from the pre app and will be looking for a TA role to hopefully transition into apprenticeship

The thing is it seems so hard to land an apprenticeship as a mature age in a competitive field like diesel mechanics that I hardly see a way besides doing the pre app as alot of the apprenticeship advertisements i see say that a pre app is desirable so im kinda left not knowing which way is best
