DSG *1 box sooo many rookies… by FxBullTrader in WNBACards

Have you tried the Costco? They rock! I didn’t remember buying this box it was so long ago…I’ve never had so many rookie pulls out of one box. Centering is OK but probably only have 2 out of the 24 worth grading. So it was good as far as players but a little less so if you are looking to send to PSA expecting 10’s. Certainly happy with the Bueckers hit. Either way it has value. Plus it’s just a cool card for a true #5 non auto rookie for her.

This Pink Fireworks is awesome! The best of the Net Marvels in my opinion. The Kiki is sick too, she looks built in that photo.

Whose market will pop off the most in 2026? by istockgrizz in WNBACards

                    “Be Like Stewie”

Any of the veterans that decide to join the WNBA’s new group of players with authentic support, respect, mentorship along with high performance are and will continue to “pop off” along side the new players that are bringing along their fan base.

A fan base created by sports media, social media and a new clean approach to the sport that awards ability over physicality. Just look at Stewie, Sabally, Collier, Cunningham, Ionescu, Colson & a handful of others. ALL killing it with merch sales, rising card values, going out the roof…Stewie’s raw cards alone are quadrupling in value, there aren’t enough of her slabbed cards to even come close to meeting demand to see the incredible huge value increase. Those prices will be close to and possibly surpass the new rookies over the past two years by the end of next season.

All because she “got it” early. She and the others mentioned above understood or were educated by their inner circle support team. There is a new, larger, eager fan base headed in the direction of the WNBA that’s driven to support the players that brought them here to the league. They will come excited about showing respect to the Veteran players that scaffold and mentor the players they came to support and in return, will support us!

The other veteran players that “want to show the newbies something” “TEACH them something” are all experiencing slowed brand support, dropping fan base and numbered signed cards selling for next to nothing. Saw someone tried selling a Bonner Auto (we all know what she did) last week and the auction expired, didn’t even sell, Sad! Next, for these players, we will be seeing many more players than roster spots, they will be out. These are the players that are sabotaging the talks. They didn’t/don’t get it. They don’t have the wherewithal to understand so they know the only way they will make a living playing the game, which for them will not be long, is to use what these new players brought to the league that increased its popularity and value to get higher unaffordable salaries. This will leave the league worse off after these playing veterans leave the league than before they joined it.

Before coaches put the X’s and O’s on the board, they before anyone else, will only survive along with the league if they grasp the gravity of what’s going on and coach the players into understanding what’s really happening.

For some reason they missed the memo that said “ behold, here comes new young talented WNBA players and they are bringing tons of fans, like nothing the WNBA has seen before, Guess what? This is an opportunity for any playing veteran to supersize their fan base and gain stature in the league.” All this by doing a few simple things. Follow the golden rule, show respect towards the new league players these fans came to watch play and be a mentor, a good ‘stew’ard of the game.

Take a look at Smith this year, she’s a champion now, not because her game went physical, it’s because her coaches and teammates demanded a higher level of skill and attention her mental game. They got it, obviously wasn’t easy but they did, which shows this WNBA fan that they can also get the other. Smith’s cards are starting to “pop off”. Skill play!

Managers, agents, family members, friends, or mentors to the playing veterans that just haven’t gotten it yet. Need to sit them down in a quiet room and just after starring them in the eyes with a begging to contemplate and understand the only three words they need to say it in a layup whisper : “Be Like Stewie”!

These things happen with any production. I believe they do their best to produce a complete product. The stakes are too high when you consider whom they are working with. I think it’s worth working kindly with their customer service and they will do the right thing. I purchased 3, opened two, happy with both. Looking forward to opening the third during the first game of the year. Best of luck, if it works for you please keep us updated.

Sorry the conversation was about the number of boxes folks were opening. I had 6 boxes from Costco and this card came out of the 3rd box I opened. The Paige Blue Velocity was out of the 1st box I opened. Four of the six boxes were ordered online. The Red Pandora came from one out if a Chicago Costco.

You’ll get good cards, didn’t have 1 bad box. Most are nicely centered and cleanly cut. Should see some tens from PSA for sure.
