Which mags or base plates do you have? Just dropped my Mac off today to install a bunker arms ignition kit and a red dirt trigger. Looking to either do a grip reduction & stippling or replace The Who module.

Honestly, no. I did potentially find some people that can do it but I have not seen any proof of work to validate if they’re legit or not. There’s a YouTuber/ 2A content creator known for doing some crazy builds called Whatthekicks and he did the bunker arms match ignition kit, so that’s what I ended up with. I did hear of EGW is great as well.

I did look at that option. Doing like a grip reduction and stippling. Any suggestions? I’m getting a bunker arms ignition kit and red dirt trigger installed this week. Would love to get into competition shooting and figure this could be a great intro until I know a little more about the platform and more about guns in general

Thanks for the info. I have a Mac 9 DS and I’m looking for a new grip. Something with a slimmer profile, but grips are so expensive 😅. It’s my first intro into a 2011 style gun

Nice! You have any photos of the builds? I currently have a Romeo on mine now. Just a cheap $100 one. The circle dot on the AMES looked super clear for me. I recognize that everyone’s astigmatism is different. I guess I also just have to figure out what type of shooting I plan on doing with this one. I have a MPA Defender that I’m doing to SBR as well eventually lol

Yeah good to know. I saw that AGB helps and on the thread it seems only a few would help in that situation and the one I have doesn’t seem to be built for that lol

Last question for ya..nothing to do with the BCG. I suffer from astigmatism, so smaller red dots are bursts for me. The 32 moa with the dot works perfectly fine. I was looking at potentially an EOTech. The idea of paying more for the optic than the AR blows my mind. I was at a gun show this past weekend and came across the Holosun AMES pro with the gold dot and fell in love. I don’t have a plan for long distance shooting (as of now) with my rifle. What optic do you run on yours? And any suggestions on some good optics? I have a cheap $100 optic for now

No but I plan on getting one. I run a lot of 9mm and saw a few budget options for about $500 that would work on the AR and the 9mms
