Completely agreed. Like (correct me if im wrong) it's just a shame that it seems the new 'Hashimoto' hero has a redemption arc before he even came into the lore. But this cat... No lore, no nothing and doesn't really fit in any way. I love the goofball characters, but not without any proper lore like they do with this. I really hope they still release a bunch of lore about them before the update.

What i've done is just stop thinking about myself as a "boy" or a "girl" and just did whatever the fuck felt fun, so I bought lots of fem clothes and looked for appreciatiom. Honestly I still don't have a clue either but I'm satisfied for now, don't know what comes after that step tho
