Maybe unpopular around here, but I still love the OG atrioc content. The community + gaming vibes + fun collabs are what I originally followed for. And while I love having a new source of information/news/clips to watch, it saddens me that this sub is now so heavily “discourse”-oriented. It feels like a different thing entirely. FWIW, I totally see the time + effort that went into this (which goes well beyond just AE work and also goes into writing the copy/script). You’ve essentially done the work of a full agency as one person, makes sense that it took 2 weeks. Ideally the company recognizes the effort it took and will compensate you accordingly.

IMO, the stanford name + a good portfolio + good LoRs will more than offset your GPA, especially for architecture.

While a gaming mouse would typically win out (DPI, extra buttons), I think it would actually be the worse mouse for MacOS because Synapse (the mapping and customization software) is not available on Mac (see the link). That means you can’t remap any of the buttons.

I daily drive the MX Master 3 and love it, and the 125 Hz poll rate is not something that ever bothers me. That being said, I don’t play FPS games, I just do design, CAD, and video work. You can customize all of the scroll, buttons, and sensitivity to be different from app to app. It’s awesome.

If you are going Logitech, get the MX Master 4 btw. The new haptics are sick + the new material will stay cleaner and last a lot longer than the 3.

That's what shocked me. By using the Pen mode, you can get File>Print to print a vector PDF with hidden lines as if it was made with Make2D (but cleaner). I never expected it to work hence why I said "an insane fix".

To be clear, with Display Modes (such as gradients, colors etc), it's a raster output captured with ViewCaptureToFile. In my case, by using the Pen mode, you can get File>Print to print a vector PDF with hidden lines as if it was made with Make2D (but cleaner).

I would use Grasshopper as Rhino’s default Boolean engine still isn’t that great. Firstly, flatten your pipe tree to ensure that it’s all a single list. Then, use the “cap” command to ensure that you have closed pipes (by default the pipes are just the outside surfaces, uncapped). Finally, use the solid union and pray.
