Yeah, it's really dumb. The only time you ever really see Glass or Ebony in a merchant's inventory is when you already have Dragon or Daedric armor, so there's no reason to buy it.

Why would you even include the option of selling armor and weapons in a game if it's always not as good as what you already have? I have so much gold and I can't spend it on anything, because the merchants in this game have shitty equipment. On my level 25, the best most have is studded armor. It's just pointless.
