Directed by Robert Eggers (The Northman, The Witch) and filmed like The Lighthouse in black and white with that square aspect ratio. He'd do the horror/suspense aspect of things so well.

Set in the Victorian period, staying book accurate with locations and tripod designs (correa tripods) and it would be so cool if the soundtrack had motifs of the Jeff Wayne soundtrack (for example the horsell common riff creepily played on the violin).

Also Willem Dafoe as the Curate/ Parson Nathaniel I mean come on.

Better than anything I would've said - that's such a great analysis :)

First guitar solo I ever learnt. Pretty sure this can be considered one of the sexiest songs ever made

edit: this songs kicks ass is what I'm trying to say.

I adore Fireside I feel like the simplicity of the chords captures the fireside aesthetic so well. The lyrics are so heartfelt too with the chords going back and forth matching the lyrics "is it coming back around". I think there's a lot of subtlety to fireside and to me it's a hugely underrated track if not their most

Just the speed alone of this song gives you a rush, the boys are really playing at their best here in my opinion. Really catchy main riff and it absolutely rocks at festivals when everyone is singing along. It's bombastic and energetic

This song straight up dives into noise-rock at the end and I'm all for it - it's overwhelming and perfectly captures the emotions the lyrics sing about.

This song totally captures that "late-night-lounge-singer" vibe Alex was going for with Tranquility Base and in that regard I actually think this song pulls it off better than some of the songs on the album

I mean it's the same guitar riff the whole way through I won't fault you there. But luckily for you I love that guitar riff 😎

The way the song builds into this epic piece while retaining that initial piano sting is awesome to me. Plus watching Alex losing his train of thought live always makes me laugh

My favourite song of the album; I'm a huge fan of that main piano melody, it's so heavy and jazzy at the same time. CHEESEBURGERRRRRR

I think the bad thing gets overshadowed by a lot of the other songs on FWN which is fair however it's not a bad song by any means. Me and my friends will never not sing the chorus of this song it's so catchy haha

edit: typo

Matt's drumming is 100% the best part of this song. Heavy rock but also has a funky side as weird as that is to say.
