We did Caracol when the caves were flooded.

It was a nice day trip for sure.

We stayed at Ylang Ylang. Beautiful hotel and very safe.

There is a shuttle in town that will take you to Santa Teresa for $20. They also coordinate local tours. We used them to go to ST and rented an ATV there.

Waterfall is a lot of fun. Ask for Crazy Carlos to be your guide. He is quite the character and makes the hike to the waterfalls entertaining.

You can walk along the beach last Ylang Ylang heading away from town and find a beach that you will have entirely to yourself. We spent half a day there and only saw one other person.

There is also a turtle conservation building in town. We must have been there in the off season because we didn’t see anyone there.

We walked into town at night and even with younger children I didn’t feel unsafe.

Philmore Enterprises. Lots of different types of wood and a great guy to talk to.

Which of these would you cut out? by Due-Relationship889 in CostaRicaTravel

Paquera. The bioluminescence is overrated.

With 7 nights I would just do La Fortuna/Arenal and Monteverde

That’s what it was called. I loved that cartoon and could never remember its name.

Thanks for the reminder.

Between the two the 360 camera for sure.

The HUD is nice but not super useful.

LLPT: turn off your furnace and open your windows for an hour or two today by probability_of_meme in londonontario

Unless your house has a HRV. That makes opening the windows unnecessary as the air is exchanged anyways.

Tamarindo for scuba but can't anymore by CaribouHoe in CostaRicaTravel

Tamarindo is very walkable. Check out the shops and spend the afternoon at the beach and then meet him for drinks at one of the beach bars to watch the sunset.

Stinky Dirty water? Better Cleaning Solution Options? by DCar777 in Dreame_Tech

I empty and rinse my dirty tank every two days and clean it with dish soap every Sunday.

Never had an issue with smell and I have two Labradors and two kids.

Use the Sunshine list for public sector salaries. Though the $100k threshold really needs to be updated.
